I don't support ending the suicide hotline. A human should answer the phone instead of giving you all these options. Someone who wants to end their life doesn't have time nor the patience to listen to all the options. Something needs to be done about that. Talking to a REAL person immediately can help save more lives. Improve it not end it!

Dear Friends and Supporters, My name is Penni Brown, and I am the proud mother of Jamaal A. Lewis, a veteran who dedicated his life to serving our country. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart but also with hope for justice and fairness. Jamaal, like many other veterans, made tremendous sacrifices to protect our freedom. Unfortunately, the current parole process for military prisoners is shrouded in secrecy and lacks the transparency and fairness that our heroes deserve. Recent laws aimed at reducing recidivism and promoting rehabilitation have unjustly excluded veterans like Jamaal, despite their invaluable service. The petition titled “Disposable Soldiers” advocates for Jamaal’s release and seeks to reform the U.S. Military Parole Commission’s process. By signing this petition, you are not only supporting Jamaal’s release but also committing to help him reintegrate into society successfully. I am fortunate to have a community of people who believe in Jamaal’s ability to contribute positively and support his rehabilitation. Their backing is a testament to the strength of the community that will help ensure Jamaal leads a productive and fulfilling life post-incarceration. Now is the time to act because military prisoners lack advocate groups, and many citizens are unaware of their existence. New neuroscience studies have expanded our understanding of young adult brains, providing relief based on these findings. However, military prisoners remain ineligible for this relief. We, the undersigned, state that incarcerated veterans should be given equal protection under the laws and the “Good faith for prior service” that is extended to police officers. Most veterans have never been in trouble with the law before, yet they face harsher sentences than those with prior offenses. **Reasons for Reform:** 1. New neuroscience studies. 2. Lack of support from Congress and former military branches. 3. Equal justice and protection for those who fought for justice. Please join us in advocating for justice and fairness for Jamaal and all veterans who deserve a second chance. Your support means the world to us. With gratitude and hope, Dr. Penni Brown

Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
