Living on Church Street in Epping, NH has been wonderful except over the last few years due to increased traffic down St Laurent it has become a cut through from Main Street to St Laurent even though one street down St Laurent connects directly to Main Street. Church Street is too narrow, has a cheap curve, and with cars parked on both sides of the road has become dangerous for myself to get my mail, work on the edge of my yard, or walk my dogs. Ambulances, sewer trucks, fire trucks, electrical service trucks, etc have a hard time navigating the street due to space with on street parking and increased traffic. Please consider we have a few disabled residents, children, and there is adequate access to St Laurent directly from Main Street so Church could become a one way for the safety of its residents - additionally putting no on street parking signs or limiting parking to one side of the street parking for the access for essential services and safety of residents.
With 2 disabled adults and grandchildren in the home,it would be nice to know that ambulances and fire trucks can make it down our street in an emergency
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
