Hello everyone,sorry I have not posted an update. I'd like to say thank you to everyone who signed,shared,commented,shared the tiktoks ect. I truly appreciate it.

 Unfortunately as of Feb 2026 the bill was killed. I hope to try again in fall of 2026 so will leave the petition up. If I am unable to get a sponsor again, I hope someone can get a bill like this passed. 

Pets are family member point blank period and should be treated as such. A life is a life and there should be repercussions for wrongfully taking one away.it unfortunately does happen more than you would think.
