I've been without clean drinking water plenty of times, and the well supplies good drinking water for these people who don't have any. To destroy this well just for a road expansion is morally ambiguous in my opinion.
Allow the people to keep their well. Destruction is not progress. It isn’t that costly to put a curve in a road around something that cannot be moved, especially when it will enrich the lives of the citizens. We paid for the road with our tax dollars don’t we, then can’t we have any say?
