Recent trends have shown an increase in petitions advocating for stronger enforcement of Move Over Laws and harsher penalties for violators. Key petitions highlight the need for awareness campaigns to educate the public about the importance of obeying Move Over Laws. Specific examples include petitions calling for stricter penalties for drivers who fail to move over or slow down, citing alarming statistics of roadside worker fatalities caused by careless drivers.
