My kids, Husband and I are all avid mountain bikers and live in the region. We depend upon the state and regional planners to offer support for a diverse offering of outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking and running trails. Thank you for helping support the shaker Ridge Trails project, this is a wonderful project for our area!
Elizabeth supported: Support Bond Earmark Funding for Shaker Ridge TrailsWe plan our weekends trips around bike trails like these. If this gets built we will definitely be making day trips, weekend trips, and maybe even longer stays in the area. We appreciate communities that invest like this and are happy to spend our vacation funds there.
Doug supported: Support Bond Earmark Funding for Shaker Ridge TrailsI grew up in Avon and road the Nepaug State a forest a lot 20-25 years ago. I would always remark to myself how much potential the area had for incredible mountain bike trails. Incredibly cool to see the trails being built and the great energy of the community. I wish I could make it back to check it out!
