The Equestrians Are On The Defensive Already!

Hello Folks:

I can't thank you enough for your signatures and support of this petition! But I must keep you informed. I have been told and I have seen the bulletin sent out by local equestrian group ETI 357. They are aware of this petition and are forming up to defend their "equestrian only" trails, as they call them. That seems pretty selfish unfair given that there are probably 50 horse people a year that use the park as opposed to hundreds if not thousands of mountain bikers. On top of that they don't even mention hikers or runners, simply calling them "equestrian only" trails.

Let's stand up to this selfish effort and show them our numbers and that WE are willing to share the trails. Equestrians apparently are not. Please share this petition and urge your friends and family to sign the petition. Without huge numbers I'm afraid this effort will go nowhere because of engrained old guard equestrian networks and outdated park master plans.

This equestrian group is planning to attend the trails planning meeting tomorrow night. If you are interested and want your voice to be heard, here is the meeting info:
