It is deeply concerning that the justice system would punish or imprison someone for helping others through the use of cannabis oil, especially given its well-documented medical benefits for conditions such as epilepsy, chronic pain, and cancer-related symptoms; aiming to alleviate suffering where conventional treatments fall short. As laws around cannabis evolve and its therapeutic value gains recognition, criminalizing its use in this context appears both outdated and morally unjust. Moreover, prosecuting this ‘crime’ which seems so trivial — compared to the pittance sentences that actual, DANGEROUS criminals receive, is inhumane and diverts valuable legal resources from much serious crimes and destroys any sort of trust left in our justice system. Joel, I hope you, and all the people you help, or could have helped, get justice and that your case is overturned. Let’s be real, the system is corrupt and the only reason you’ve been found guilty is because you might have made a few quid in the process. The outcome of your trial is utterly miserable. Best of luck. Paige

Joel was amazing when my husband was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma at just aged 26! He came to see us, wouldn’t charge for the oil and sat and talked with us all day! Unfortunately my husband passed away just a few short months later however the oil was the only thing that took his pain away! He was given morphine and oxycodone by the hospital and still felt all the pain and was just so drowsy he had no quality of life! The oil meant he was relatively pain free and still able to have some quality of life. We even used the balm on his tumours and this helped with the pain so much! Thank you for all of your help Joel and I hope the justice system is kind to you for all the lives you have saved and helped support ❤️

The Brighton men as with my Manchester (Stockport) Group under another enthusiastic Doctor (Prof.) Tony Redmond, and other fine schemes, fought for and taught Paramedic skills. The entrenched dogma from the nhs, employers, many colleagues, some nurses and even Doctors had to be overcome. Dirty tactics, personal threats, blanket restriction on the application if our skills, plus the struggle for basic recognition back in the 1980's. As that period of personal struggle, oppression and sacking from the Ambulance Service, plus burnout and destroyed health of so many of we pioneers passes into history, why not erect a memorial to one of its most powerful advocates. Well done in commemorating the Prof's story.

Thank you for fighting for change! I have been a sufferer of PMDD for 13 years. I fully support the change that women are so desperate to see in correct diagnosis, and treatment. The condition is truly debilitating and causes cyclical distress and devastates lives. Sufferers need professionals to have access to education desperately so they can support us and help reduce the stigma around women's health. We need to stop medical misogyny women's health matters!
