Siobhan supported: Stop Boy Racers and Antisocial BehaviourThe staggered junction between Kynnersley Drive and Nursery Lane is a death trap - I've encountered cars turning too early in the wrong lane, travelling towards oncoming traffic at high speeds on the wrong side of the road. I live in the village and drive the road almost daily, and the near misses that I see terrify me. There needs to be better signage, traffic calming measures or lights between the two aforementioned junctions. I think 50mph is plenty. I wouldn't use the cycle path with my family as I think it's too dangerous due to the speed of the road and the dangerous driving I frequently see. Yesterday Lilleshall was at a standstill with traffic for hours due to the diversion, leaving residents unable to get in and out and emergency vehicles unable to pass through (an ambulance on blue lights), and once the traffic was moving people were speeding through the 20mph village at ridiculous speeds, putting further lives at risk. Too many lives already sadly lost, we need to improve safety for drivers/passengers and local residents.

I have witnessed examples of reckless driving including thoughtless high speed overtaking. To date I have dealt with the disposal of only dead animals hit by cars, thankfully, but fear for the children, cyclists and horse riders who are placed at risk. I recall being at a business meeting in Manchester where one participant, not knowing I live in Poppleton, boasted about a fast short ishortcut he knew through the village - I soon let him know my views on his stupidity. Unfortunately there are many more like him… Effective traffic calming measures are must be provided on all the ‘rat runs’ through the village, including Long Ridge Lane, with effective enforcement of the desperately needed 20mph limit.

They mother, love and protect their lambs only to have them torn away and slaughtered when only months old. Just so humans can eat more tender “meat”. The hills round here echo with the cries of mothers on the day the lambs are taken. It’s heartbreaking. Why add to this already heartbreaking result of human inflicted cruelty?

She has really bad injuries to her hands being knocked over by a car speeding around roundabout . All the times we have lived in Spa Hill two ladies have been killed on the bend at the bottom. Cars race down the Hill and don't think of the bend at bottom and have crashed through walls and also have lost control and rolled over . My father had to crawl in one of the cars to get people out. They use the Hill as a race track . Stop it before anyone else gets hurt badly . My sister is testament to this through her injuries and she was crossing the road . So glad she wasn't killed .
