These two young individuals deserve freedom, dignity, and the right to build their futures without fear. Detaining youth is a harmful, unjust practice that tears apart families. I stand in solidarity with them and urge ICE to release them immediately. No one belongs in detention — especially not the youth!
My cousins deserve to be free! Deserve to be treated with respect! They have not committed any crimes! They are aspiring young adults just wanting to graduate high school and find a job to create a future for themselves! Mateo their little brother with disabilities has been struggling in school without their presence. He is not the happy kid he is when he has his brothers Josue and Jose! They deserve to have a chance in this country. They have spent more than half of their life here. Have a heart and let them be free and come home to their family! They do not deserve to be restrained when they have done nothing wrong. The only thing that separates you and them is that they were born in another country. Let them stay. DO NOT DEPORT THESE KIDS!
These young kids deserve the right to live in this country just like everyone else. No criminal record and complied with regulations. We should not pushing good people that follow rules.
I have lived in this state for over 20 years, and it has become clear that our legislators are completely disconnected from the people they were elected to serve. If anyone is doing the serving, it is the people—supporting politicians and individuals who have contributed nothing to the state. Our votes are meaningless, and the fact that our tax dollars are being carelessly given away is simply egregious.
And every year the "legislators" of Washington State need more money. When do the people of the state get to come first?
I will no longer stay silent. I've watched my beautiful state expand and implode because of the reckless actions of our governing body for almost 52 years. I was born and raised right here in Washington. As a hairdresser, we get to hear it all and my LEGAL immigrant clients (from all over the world)are MAD! They WORKED to get here and they are tired that the fruits of their labor is going to someone who just walked across an imaginary line. And I can't say, I don't blame them. I am frankly, just tired of supporting bad behavior and criminal activity with my tax dollars. I, at this point, believe I should get a refund on the over spending for other people's addictions and criminal acts that they support in my state. Please, step in and do something about this deplorable behavior!
Please help Pam! After serving the military for 21 years, I recently returned home to a state that has been taken over and the citizens are struggling. Come and end this non-sense. The politicians don't seem to listen to their constituents and need to be brought back to reality.
Consider this my way of being able to protest just about anywhere in the US just so I can fight back against the corruption that is tearing our nation apart.
Even though I am unable to drive due to epilepsy, and there is no bus service in my neighborhood, that does not matter. I am absolutely sick of Trump and his cronies having their way with just about any and all of us.
We are people as a whole, and we shall NOT let him deny ANY of us what we need to be able to live our lives.
