Victories in Homeland Security

It's important to protect due process by any means possible. So stopping the deportations of immigrants no matter the cause is the most just thing in the world. Empathy acts as the most powerful force in the entire world, as without community we would not have society. So dividing communities and families opposes society itself.
Evan supported: American Airlines: Trump's deportations are cruel and unlawful. Vow not to aid them.
Kidnapping human beings, throwing them on a plane, shackled and defenseless, then sending them to another country without them having the ability to prove in a court of law that they have done nothing to deserve this cruel punishment is nothing short of inhumane! If you were being accused of a crime, don't you want to be afforded the same rights as everyone else? What if they just decide you're in fact guilty just because and send you to prison FOR LIFE?!? Just imagine it! A little empathy goes a very long way here!

NOT in my name! These are not the acts that represent my values nor the values of the country I love. These illegal and unethical acts are not representative of an America which respects the rights of ALL those arriving on our shores. This reprehensible treatment of innocent travelers, citizens, and residents must cease, immediately.

This is wrong, and people in my area are being stopped, treated like criminals, and ripped away from due process as green card and visa holders.

As an autistic young adult, I know from personal experience it is hard enough to live in a systemically ableist society. The abuse and neglect described here is utterly inhuman. Ty is my cousin, one of the most kind-hearted people I know, and he is worthy of your respect and care. He is a human being, not a statistic. This was preventable. It doesn't take blind trust of either side to do a thorough investigation. No matter what you believe, inhibiting and postponing is not protecting against defamation or playing the victim, it is enabling it. The complete lack of response by the people whose job it is to keep our students safe speaks volumes. It is not too late to do the right thing. People have already been hurt; that is undeniable and cannot be reversed. But that does NOT mean willfully ignoring the now limited but still very much nonzero action that CAN still be taken to conduct that investigation, take action to prevent further abuse, hold the known abuser(s) accountable, and ensure adequate medical treatment for the victim(s) to the fullest extent possible. To those who make the decision: whatever you decide, treat this like the future of someone you love depends on it. Because that's exactly what it is to his family. And someday it could be you.

My daughter was poisoned with Fentanyl, she will forever be 24. Alecia Coglianese, her life mattered.

Coups and insurrection come in many flavors. What the current administration and the oligarchs funding it are doing to federal employees and public servants is a slightly less visually disturbing but even more devastating event than the attack on the Capitol. Because no one has been held to account, it's happening again and the chances and consequences of success are absolutely terrifying. Don't sit on this. Don't let it rest. Don't let the people who have given so much for so long working day to day... scientists, inspectors, park employees... have to become yes-people to a rich man with an ego and the other rich man with an ego who he sold the ENTIRE COUNTRY to. Sorry. I CAN NOT believe people who ought to have known better (and did) just let any of this go. Please don't let them screw the populace again.

I am a new federal employee (<1 year) and it took over a year to find my place working for my agency. I would love to move up in my agency and fulfill job duties closer to my area of study, but I am so nervous about this trend of belittling language, mockery, and blatant disregard for the Oath I swore from this administration. I am appalled that sensitive information has been accessed by someone without a security clearance or vetted authorization by Congress. It flies in the face of my Oath and makes the ethics trainings I am required to take look like a joke. I will be holding the line. I will not quit. Solidarity forever!

The Federal employees and agencies I work with are some if the most hard-working and dedicated people I know, and they strive every day to make things better, safer, and more equitable for the American public and our country. These attacks on workers, takeovers of agencies by Musk and non-government groups, purging of information and programs... it MUST BE STOPPED NOW before there's nothing left to save.
