As a Norfolk local born and bred, I’m deeply concerned about what’s happening at Tamar Nurseries and the Fountain Group croonies - Anglia Construction Ltd OSCUDE LIMITED isn’t just about one planning application—it’s about protecting rurla and Fenland countryside, our flooding risks, and the honesty we expect in local decision-making.
That 100-year-old willow was part of our landscape. Veteran trees like this can’t be replaced overnight, and the shady way it was chopped down (now a police matter!) shows why we need tougher enforcement.
Flooding fears are real. Water storage dug in without water checks—right in Flood Zone 3—risks making flooding worse for all of us. The IDB and EA seem to be passing the buck, and that’s not good enough. No More "Wink & Nod" Planning Four years of false claims (“no trees,” “0m² buildings”) prove this developer can’t be trusted. If the Council won’t act, the Secretary of State must step in.

Proper replanting of lost trees (20-to-1, not just a slap on the wrist) A public inquiry into how this was allowed to happen
They cut down a 100-year-old tree — to make room for access for an illegal development.
This wasn’t pruning. It was destruction.
They said no trees were there. They lied.
They said no building had started. They lied.
Now they want permission after the damage is done.
This is planning fraud, and it’s happening in plain sight.
Increasing mismanagement of our council tax: Poor services i.e failure to grit roads, no grit in bins, closure of tip, no bus past 6pm from Bollington. M&S being moved from Macclesfield ripped the heart out of the town centre. Trying to close local libraries. We pay more and receive less each year and are very unhappy residents.
