Donk and Brittney are of two a handful of people who were instrumental in making Bluesky what it is. That they were harassed by bad actors, kicked off the platform while Bluesky did nothing to help, is infuriating, it makes me want to go back to lurking for another 25 years. It is only because D&B saw something in me, and took the time to bring me out of my shell that I am now an active voice on the platform. These are two of the most wonderful people I have ever met. The fact that they have faced such harassment and blue sky has capitulated to it, makes my heart sad and heavy. Their immediate restoration is not the right thing to do, it is required if Blue sky is to remain the place that people have come to cherish.

I have followed and interacted with both of them for years, previously on another platform and recently on Bluesky. Their responses to me have always been positive, substantive, and supportive. I believe their contributions to the community in bringing people together and strengthening connections have been very valuable to many. Please restore their profiles as soon as possible.

Despite facing relentless harassment from others, BlueSky remained indifferent to their plight. These two were instrumental in shaping the platform; it is time to reinstate them!

All that I ever witnessed was them connecting people with kindness and respect. I know of one big hater and they never responded to his rude and mean comments. They also encouraged everyone else to ignore it. He blocked me just for interacting with them and participating in their weekend account connecting parties. I chalked it up to jealousy, as he was trying to outdo their efforts and seemed to be a very petty and angry person. I have never been on twitter/x so I had no idea what I was doing. They helped me connect with many other BlueSky users.
I feel strongly that BlueSky should bring them back. They had a positive impact on many people especially with all the madness in our world today. They weren’t hurting anyone! This is crazy. Their only response to the haters was this; “There’s no room for hate on BlueSky.” Bring them back. This is absurd. Thank you! Jules1212@bluesky.

She worked hard connecting so many of us. Really nice people who are making a difference in this country. Alot of us were so sick of the old place we all fled to BlueSky. X became a toxic negative environment. When I started at blue sky, Brittney was tireless by helping me reengage with old followers. She’s helped so many people. Donk was also an old friend from X. Kind, cheerful and patient. He helped so many people get reconnected with each other. Brittney and Donk combined their voices and started wonderful Resister starter packs. These packs are a great feature on BlueSky, I am sure they have united thousands of individuals I ordinarily would not have connected with. I do believe Bluesky got it wrong when they suspended their accounts. They used a fantastic tool on BS, yet it seems it may have been to their detriment. Many media personalities such as Mark Hamill, Heather Thomas, Morgan Freeman to name a few all actively participated in the positivity, fun and banter within these posts. These posts became a positive part of my day by connecting with such great people. People who also share a passion for our country and Democracy. I do hope you consider re-activating their fabulous accounts, but especially their voices. I do very much miss them, and the special part of my day I would chit chat with them. Kindly, Kris

Brittany and Donk are two huge reasons why I joined Blue Sky. I'm shocked. This stuff happens to good people on X all the time. I really hope you find a way to bring them back. They are, from my personal experiences. Warriors for freedom and Democracy. We need them in this fight.
