Her son at age 12 was left to be raised by his elderly grandmother. He has autism. That was in 2020 and things have only gotten worse since. There is deafening silence from both sides of politics on this issue. Where’s our national day of mourning? Where is the action on this? If you are silent you are complicit. These deaths are PREVENTABLE!!!! DO something NOW!!! Why the hell are people who have histories of violence and DVOs out on them getting bail? Why don’t sentences match the crime? Where have we failed women during the justice process? There was outage at the Bondi terrorist attack and I expect the exact same level of outrage and action on this. Governments have blood on their hands.

I hear as many teenage girls thinking that this is something they have to look like they are ok with for fear of being rejected or broken up with. Our society is drowning in consent programs, and then producing ‘games’ like this. For those of us who saw the red lights in ‘Adolescence’, who claim to care about young people, violence against women, or the hearts and minds of our future men, the responsibility falls to each of us to see material like this returned to the put from which it came, and seen for the sickening version of sex that it is.

We should not normalize or fetishize this sort of behavior. Some may compare it to other games that have you do illegal stuff; but rape should not even be comparable. This is personal, this is traumatizing, and this has affected many real people.

And we as a culture do not have to let people profit off their crimes nor should we profit off their crimes. On behalf of all survivors of abuse, rape, trafficking, and exploitation please end the Tate Brothers platform for profiting off of their sexual crimes. Thank you.
