Pet rent is ridiculous rent is already sky high and now it makes things even harder and forces people who let go of their beloved pets and creates more of an issue for animal shelters due to pet rent 1000s of dogs a year are put down because shelters are over ran. Families are already struggling to make ends meet and pet rent on top of paying a deposit is just greedy and unjustified. It shouldn't be allowed renters already deal with 80% of landlords being slum lords we shouldn't have to work to death just to have a roof over our heads and keep our fur babies.
Stephanie supported: Outlaw Pet Rent, Save LivesHealthy animals are NEVER euthanized, they are killed.Euthanization is for ending suffering that will never get better but only worse, killing is just killing. It is not their fault they are homeless and they are not disposable objects but are living and feeling beings. It is imperative to have low cost spay/neuter clinics with a lot of outreach, education, stronger laws, and TNR for cats. Also, canine racism should never be considered acceptable, thus the killing of so many allegedly "dangerous" dogs.
Kate supported: Demand Transparency on Euthanasia of Healthy dogs at OCAS & Increase FundingAnimals rely on us and we are failing them. We need a better way to ensure medical care and LOW cost spay & neuter to help. No living being should be killed "for space" and thrown away! We must do better- our system is broken and must be fixed NOW!
