We are BLACK Americans. This is the BLACK American Heritage Flag, not the African American flag. We are not African Americans. Yes, we have SOME lineage from there but, we are our own ethnicity. Do you call Jamaicans “African Jamaicans”? Or Haitians “African Haitians”? No. They have their own identity and culture. So do we.
