This is a naked power grab by Griffin. He is challenging the right to vote for 65,000 NC Citizens. NC Board of Elections has audited and found Riggs won. Courts concurred. NC citizens already are hampered to have free and fair elections as there is extreme gerrymandering in place to give power to the GOP. Now the NC courts are trying to take away the Governors power over the state election board
It’s hard to feel that democracy is alive in NC, hard to feel that the voices of my community have power..
But we fight on because change is gonna come

We as a society rely on their impartiality. That Judge Griffin is now trying to actively disenfranchise targeted votes in order to gain power for himself is truly concerning. I do not trust that he would not continue to use his position to benefit only himself and a select group of voters. We cannot trust him as a Supreme Court Justice. He needs to have some dignity and concede.

Respect the will of North CarolinaI am an independent voter, and a U.S. Navy veteran during the 2024 election my ballot was a mix of democrat and republican who I thought were the most qualified for the position they were running for. This judge is damaging the election process for the state of NC, he cannot throw out 60,000 votes just because he lost, by doing so then every person who was elected would have to vacate those positions. In my opinion he just needs to accept the fact that he lost and try next election cycle.

I shouldn’t have to jump through these hoops to have my vote count just because Griffin doesn’t like the results. It’s deplorable. Why do all my other votes on this same ballot count except this one? He needs to respect our democracy and the people have spoken. Justice Riggs needs to take her rightful seat.

My daughter is on that list of so-called questionable ballots. She filled out the registration IN FRONT of the Forsyth County Board of Elections workers. It's very telling that no other race was contested because of these "issues", but the State Supreme Court vote is somehow unique? In what world does someone who received 734 *fewer* votes (counted and recounted twice) get to call the ballots suspect AFTER the election? I'm really tired of the Republican game of "Heads I win, tails you lose" shenanigans. This is the ONLY race from 2024 that is still pending. Don't be a sore loser and concede already.
