Raven said it all! My heart still hurts. She was so protective of me. It's unfathomable that I will never see her, hug her, text with her, have phone conversations with her or hear her call me B. Sending prayers and love to her family. 🙏🏾💔
Ericka was one of my best friends for over 35 years. She’s is deeply missed. Her life was worth more than a plea deal. She was on her way to work. A mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend and confidant were some of the many roles she had. She would help anyone in need.
I support this bill because just over a year ago a Man who was on call with his employer decided to drink and drive causing an accident that killed my cousin Rachael who was a mother and only 29 years old. He is out on bail and is able to see his family. As we Rachael family and children are left with only photos and memories. These drunk drivers who kill a parent should be held responsible for minor children until they reach 21 years old.
Nothing will ever change regarding this issue until new laws are put in place. The people know they can get away with drinking and driving and get to go home afterwards. If there were stricter policies put in place then maybe these kinds of people would think twice before getting behind the wheel drunk and killing innocent people’s lives. It needs to happen now.
My uncle was hit by 3 illegal immigrants who were drunk drivers and he had suffered nerve damage and other injuries. He was hit head on at a stop sign, but thank God he's still alive but the trauma on his body caused so much sickness. And I'm also signing this petition because I knew Jourdan personally in high school and she continues to be amazing in her recovery.
I am candy young. I am sending the petition for the drunk driving first offenders. My brother was killed by a drink driver when he was 5 and the guy only got 16 months and got deported that was not right.
No more light sentencing! Make stricter sentencing for DUI offenders so innocent people can continue to live their lives and families can stop suffering for other peoples mistakes. No child should have to die because someone decided to drink and drive.
