Victories in Domestic Abuse Against Women

I wish you all the success with this very important petition. Having to petition for something so fundamental to the protection of women (although I think this abuse is also carried out by women towards their men) is a testament of how far removed we are to the awareness of creeping misuse of technology. This is not a subject that can be camouflaged as freedom of speech. It's evil and insidious and has a far-reaching psychological impact on the victims of this behaviour.
J supported: Revise Legal Frameworks to Address Tech-Abuse and Stalking in Domestic Violence Cases
I've been in a cohabiting relationship for 30 years, we've had a family together, built a home together, we've lasted a lot longer than a lot of marriages, we should be given the same status as a married couple.
Philippa supported: Modernise Cohabitation Laws for Breakups to Protect Vulnerable Partners and Children
I was in an abusive marriage, this is why I'm signing the petition.
Janet supported: Implement The Freedom Programme in All High Schools
I myself am awaiting a restraining order as I have been a victim of sexual violence so therefore it terrifies me that after a few years he could be free to be near me. This petition is so important!
Natasha supported: Give Domestic Abuse Victims Control Over the Length of Their Restraining Orders
I had to stop watching I actually blacked out watching this for years it’s very triggering and it’s not a representation of healthy black families
Cheryl supported: Stop the Mistreatment of Women on Reality TV Inspired by Melody Shari Rodgers' Story
The time has come for women especially black women to have their lives shown in a more positive way than what we currently see on reality tv.

As a survivor abuse in my relationships, including work environments, it is imperative to be able to voice this allowed, so victims feel heard, supported and safe. Law should not be an ass! We have moved on from this quote, or have we!? We need Dr Proudman and alike to be our voice in a world that is still not protecting us. Be the justice you start out and study to be, not the wig worn as a mask!
Barb supported: Support Dr. Charlotte Proudman Against Unjust Disciplinary Proceedings
I’m a DV survivor and I panic every time I think of my abusers release date nearing. I can’t even begin to imagine the fear this woman has, keep him incarcerated at all costs.
Nicole supported: Stop Serial Violent Offender Shane Jenkin Being Released
This man is a threat to public safety and should be kept in prison as per his sentence. I say this as a survivor of DV perpetrated by a repeat offender who was also released from prison. The lack of adequate supervision by the various services, including parole officer, meant my life was put at risk. These offenders don't change, they repeatedly reoffend until stopped when removed from society
Michelle supported: Stop Serial Violent Offender Shane Jenkin Being Released
I hope he's never released. She's only lucky that the police helped put him in jail. My ex violently destroyed my spinal disk, fractured a spinal disk, damaged my spinal cord, fractured my wrist and raped me after making me permanently disabled. And the officer involved didn't look into my evidence n she blamed it all on COVID n the police not being able to look into my evidence. My ex is free n I found out he did the same to another woman he dated n she has a broken spine also n he got away with that to. The officer said "3rd time lucky" how is him permanently destroying another ladies life lucky. Wish I'd got justice. Thing is Ur never free of them till they die. Good luck to this poor lady n I'll keep signing the partition as much as needed good luck to her n I'm sorry the last person she seen was her attacker
