💜1000 signatures💜

I honestly don’t know where to start with this one.

We’ve reached 1,000 signatures on our petition. 🥹

When I started this campaign, I genuinely didn’t know where it would go. I never imagined we’d reach this point, and when I look back at everything we’ve achieved together, I’m honestly so proud.

And the signatures are only one part of it.

We’ve managed to speak to and connect survivors and campaigners with national news organisations.

We’ve helped people get their stories and experiences heard.

We’ve helped people feel more confident about speaking out.

We’ve given people a platform when they felt like nobody was listening.

We’ve raised awareness around domestic abuse, repeat offending, early release, victim safety and the experiences of survivors.

We’ve seen our campaign and our issues mentioned in Parliament.

We’ve connected people with opportunities they might never have had before to get their voices heard.

We’ve sparked conversations.

We’ve fundraised loads of money for victims of abuse.

And most importantly, we’ve created a space where people can come forward and say:

“This happened to me too.”

I want to say something really important though.

This has NEVER just been me. There is a group of incredibly brave survivors behind this campaign.

Yes, I might be the person you see posting, emailing, speaking to the media and pushing things forward — but behind Beyond the Sentence UK there are so many of us.

Every signature.

Every share.

Every message.

Every survivor who has trusted us with their story.

Every person who has spoken out for the first time.

Every person who has encouraged someone else to speak.

Every person who has shared our posts.

Every person who has stood beside another survivor.

That’s this campaign.

It’s all of us.

And I am genuinely so proud of every single one of you.

Some of you have been here from the very beginning.

Some of you have only just found us.

Some of you have shared your own experiences.

Some of you have supported quietly behind the scenes.

Some of you have helped connect people, media and organisations.

It all matters.

1,000 signatures isn’t just 1,000 clicks.

Behind every signature is a person who has taken a moment to say:

“I support this.”

And that means more than you probably realise.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. ❤️

Thank you for believing in this.

Thank you for trusting me.

Thank you for trusting each other.

Thank you for speaking when your voice was shaking.

Thank you for sharing when it was difficult.

Thank you for standing up for people who aren’t ready to stand up yet.

And thank you for reminding me that this is so much bigger than one person.

We are 1,000 strong.

And we’re not finished.

This campaign started with a petition.

It’s become a community.

It’s become a voice.

And together, we’re continuing to push for awareness, accountability, better protection for victims and a system where survivors are actually heard.

I’m proud of every single one of us.

Thank you for being part of Beyond the Sentence UK. 💜

1,000 signatures.
One community.
So many voices.
And we’re only getting started. 💜
