ICE is taking people in dangerous ways..Our fellow humans, neighbors who are immigrants, deserve dignity. ICE is operating in a cruel, intimate and evil fashion in taking people while wearing masks, in taking children
Our county is better than that!
As a pet owner and someone interested in veterinary science, I know how dangerous English Ivy is to dogs and cats, among other animals (it is abundant and poisonous)
I have customized my tag and it has not altered the number and letters of my tag and is reflective. The tag has brought nothing but joy to those who have come encounter to it. Even police officers have complemented it. I feel that I would love to be able to customized our Florida license plate as we wish to promote self expression which is part of the fundamental rights of Americans.
Currently going through the court system because of platemakers custom plate. It is considered a class B misdemeanor in North Dakota to "Alter" said license plate. $200+ for plate & $3500 in legal fees
Please extend Real ID Deadline. I'm a disabled senior and End stage renal failure patient on dialysis 3 days a week and don't have extra money to pay for the new ID. Help
with the current government not supporting nonbinary and trans identities, it's not an ideal time to be demanding an ID change. also the cost? is this free? no it isn't.as for myself, i live in a rural area of california, i just recently (maybe last year) got an ID with my changed name and gender. i don't want my X taken from me, nor do i want to go through the entire hassle of having to once again prove i am who i am when they already know. i'm poor and can't afford the gas, honestly, to go to the DMV, nor pay for the real ID itself, thanks to the tanking economy.
so, yeah, now isn't the time.
I work with several senior citizens whom have been turned away from the DMV due to not having the "correct " documentation. Especially women who now all of a sudden have to prove why they have a different last name than the one they were born with. When this was never a problem, and had a Driver's License with a married name for decades. Then have to produce a marriage certificate when it was done at the DMV years ago. Can they even find it? Or pay for a copy? Or only have the birth certificate from the hospital, and not the town born in. The long form costs $ 10.00 in my state.
I don’t have a Real ID, my parents do, in another state, a state I’ll have to drive to over 12 hours away to after 5/7/25. This is entirely too quick to reasonably require. It’s been optional for awhile, but that’s optional. Secondly, these requirements are ridiculously overly strict. Do you know how many older people won’t be able to get a hold of their birth certificate? How many poorer folks will have a hard time? Why are we being this harsh? This is all very extreme and over done.
I’ve been away from home for nearly 1 month to care for my ill father, who has since passed away. I’ve been unable to get a real ID due to unexpectedly being pulled away from home, and therefore will not be able to get one before returning home. This deadline is so unnecessary, and should be extended. Millions of Americans are still without one, and thus will be denied travel WITHIN the U.S., which is our home country. Makes no sense. Please extend this deadline for the many of us who are unable to get access to a real id before May 7.
