DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is a crucial issue impacting thousands of undocumented immigrants who arrived in the United States as children. The program, established in 2012, grants temporary protection from deportation and work permits to eligible individuals, known as Dreamers. However, recent political shifts have put DACA recipients at risk, leading to petitions advocating for permanent solutions and support for immigrant communities.
Petitions under this topic focus on urging lawmakers to provide a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, highlighting their contributions to society and the need for comprehensive immigration reform. One petition with 1 million signatures calls for the restoration of DACA and protection for its recipients, emphasizing the human rights aspect of the issue.
Join the movement to stand in solidarity with DACA recipients and support their right to a secure future in the only home they have ever known. Your voice can help shape policies that impact the lives of thousands of individuals striving for a better tomorrow.

Hello my name is Jonathan. The US is the only home I've known for 24 years. I don't even remember my family in my home country. I've worked legally since I was 18 years old and have paid taxes every year for the past 11 years (I'm 29). I have never asked for any government assistance and I graduated as a mechanical engineer in 2019. I took up a work study while in college to pay for classes. I've worked in my field for the past 5 years and I believe myself to be an excellent employee. All I'm asking for my permit to be renewed. We pay the application fee (not cheap) every 2 years and submit with ample time. I understand I'll never be treated as an American, but I love this country and all I want is to continue to contribute to this GREAT Nation. Thank you!
I am fighting for my people, they come to this country looking for a better life and creating a better future for their families
I am not just fighting for my people but for my parents and my family. They came here and found jobs a home. They have kind hearts. They are not criminals. They are people who want to find a better life. Build a better life for their families. Please find it in your heart to sigh this petition and help.
I do not want to see my people in detention centers. Ice are the real criminals. They racially profile and mistreat them. We have to do everything in our power to put an end to this.
I am fully white. I sign this not for me, but for my Mexican friends, my Black friends, my Asian friends, the people I care about that "aren't a light enough skin colour." Raise your voices. We can fight back.
