Nothing does more for improving my mental and physical health than riding the rail trail to and from work at UBC.
Jenica supported: Save the Rail Trail GreenspaceI think we can all see the immense value that the mission creek greenway adds to Kelowna. Imagine if we invested similarly in the rail trail! Additionally, the yellow-breasted chat is a protected species on the BC red list and has a known presence along the rail trail. I don't know enough about law to know if this construction violates the federal Species At Risk Act on paper, but it certainly does in spirit.
