Those with putrid behaviour should not be given a platform until they have repaired the damage they've done. Getting SA-ed at work by someone you and your friends trust is horrific. Brian needs to be held to account.

Tragic Loss of Devkarn Singh. We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Devkarn Singh, who drowned at Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this time of unimaginable grief. It is profoundly disappointing to learn that despite urgent pleas for assistance, the RCMP reportedly stated they were not trained for underwater rescue and assumed he was already deceased. Even more troubling, critical time was lost while RCMP officers were allegedly on lunch breaks, and the appropriate rescue teams did not arrive until 14 hours later. This heartbreaking loss highlights a serious failure in emergency response that must be addressed. A life was at stake, and the lack of timely action cost a family their son, brother, and loved one. We mourn with the family and the entire community as we remember Devkarn Singh. May Waheguru bless his soul and give strength to his family in this incredibly difficult time. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

This wasn’t the first life lost due to the lack of emergency response system. There are countless mothers who never got to see the faces of their children due to flaws in RCMP procedures. This time it was a 20 year old young singh who had his whole life ahead, next time it could be someone from your family.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. Baba Ji was an insanely inspirational and selfless man he only wanted the best for others. I met Baba Devkarn singh ji at south Sikh society on December 22 of last year and ever since Baba Ji would give me life tips or how I could improve my life in general and as a gursikh. Baba Ji On the First day of meeting me and not even knowing who I was offered to give me santhiya on Dhan Dasam Granth sahib (Educating me about what the Dasam Granth says) Which just left be feeling amazed that he would rather waste his time trying to educate me then himself. After December 22 we talked more and more and made plans for the summer this year and I’m very upset that this happened to Baba Ji . While he was drowning the RCMP was taking lunch breaks.. I can not express how much pain I feel for the family and I wish them the best as they recover from this tragedy. This truly is heartbreaking and disappointing that the RCMP couldn’t help save our beloved Singh. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Veerji was a Singh we all young kids inspired to be like and the fact the RCMP brushed is accident off like that is a crime and racist if someone white were to drown would they have pushed saving Veerji off no they would take immediate action it is disappointing being born in a place like Canada and experiencing racism when are family’s came here for refuge for the racism we were trying to escape from

Earlscourt Park, or any park in our city for that matter, needs to be as safe as possible for the kids/families/students that use it. I can’t even understand why a bathroom would be designed that way. It poses a safety concern for any female using it. I’m not sure if that is the case for the male washroom as well, but that design needs to be changed immediately.

As the powerful businessman Harjeet Singh Dhadda was receiving threats from long time but the police did nothing for safety, it shows the common man in this country is not safe anymore. The people like us who are living in this country, thousands of miles away from home, have no feeling of security .
