I was sterilised at 27 without children. I am childfree by choice and I was fortunate enough to have been listened to, but hundreds, if not thousands, of women are not.
Natalie supported: Make the choice to be sterilised equal for women and men on the NHS.It's imperative that women are taken seriously when requesting sterilisation. Too often, women face barriers to the procedure, whether be due to gender, age, or childfree status. My PhD is on these issues faced by women in England in Wales and if you would like to hear about this further/ my project please email me @katesan2@liverpool.ac.uk
Kate supported: Make the choice to be sterilised equal for women and men on the NHS.I have pcos and have lost nearly 5 stone on mounjaro. I buy it myself and it costs a lot. It should be made available on NHS. We are all living proof it works but of course any womens hormone problems are ignored even the menopause is brushed off. Time for change!!!
