We moved to Tessera, and like many others found that we were deceived by the seller. We were intentionally misled to believe we would have access to Lago amenities, and that we would have a voice in the HOA in our neighborhood. Moreover, we were upset to learn that the HOA had been paying insane amounts of money for groundskeeping that was never done (an admitted mistake that was swept under the rug). Embezzlement? No transparency, no communication, no choice. We need the State's intervention!

I am a strong advocate for transparency, clarity, and fairness in all transactions and agreements between the city and developers and their impact on current and future homeowners. Those standards have not been fully met for Tessera homeowners. I support corrective actions that produce the best resolution for we the homeowners.

Not only are our amenities open to the public, but our neighborhood has no access to any of the other Lago Vista parks and facilities. How is it that we pay dues that anyone in Lago can use but yet aren't consider part of Lago Vista?

The enormous hike in rates issued by NYSEG are capricious and arbitrary . My bill doubled since the meter was changed without any additional usage on the consumer end. I would like to have a proper audit performed by the NYDPS examining how this is possible. It gives the appearance of potentially fraudulent behavior with regard to nefarious business practices. Please investigate NYSEG fully as they have clearly demonstrated a lack of integrity and transparency with the billing process and usage monitoring.

I live in Ferndale NY and NYSEG installed the “smart reader” to our electric box, our bills have gone up by 20-30%. There is now physical changes to our usage and cannot get over the increase. Some one needs to address this. We were told this “ OPPPOl upgrade would save us money.” Turns out quite the opposite!

I have lived in the same home since 2014 and I have one less person here. My usage this Feb is tripled from Feb 2024. Last month was around $175. This month $554 plus my budget of $89. How much more do they want? I have medical equipment and a signed note from my doctor and they still shut me off. How can this be legal and why are they allowed to charge whatever they want? My neighbor is charged one rate and I am charged another. I also asked for an energy audit and was denied. Please look into this corruption and fix it somehow. Thanks.

I just got my latest bill and it is over $600. My previous bill was $400. This is killing me! I am a disabled senior citizen living alone in a tiny one bedroom apartment. I use one lamp and keep my heat set at 60°. Now I lowered it to 55° in the kitchen and bathroom! I'm already freezing here and unable to pay NYSEG. PLEASE HELP!!!

As a local elected official, I testified against NYSEG in front of the PSC about their abysmal 2019 storm response. While there was substantial investment in the BeaverBrook sub, transmission lines, and the first tree cutting completed in decades, providing customers with reliable service (that they have been paying for an not receiving) does not equate unaffordable rate hikes. We have many homeowners and renters who are on a fixed income. These increases are untenable for every customer in the service area, and never should’ve been permitted.

I’m a single mother of 3 & 1 is dissabled autistic non- verbal with severe sensory/ delays .. I need fair electric prices to provide for my child safely.. She don’t understand why she can’t have her lights on & take her normal baths for her water therapy. I have lived in my home for over 10 years now.. My bill was on a budget 178$ a month. Received letter I went over my budget and I would be billed more . So I received 254$. 3 days later another bill totally $ 666.11. Was due by February 7th the whole 666.11. I feel this can’t be right or fair for anyone to pay these high bills.. My older two daughter are in college full time in Buffalo.. My bill should have went down.. There is only 2 ppl that lives in the home . Makes NO sense why my bill would cost me so much more with having 2 less ppl here .. So I ask u to open an investigation for NYSEG to see why these prices are so high. Makes no sense to me. This all Happened after the smart meter was placed at my house . Never had any issue before .. Utilities shouldn’t cost almost what rent does ..Make them more fair for the average person that are just tryin to survive & provide for our families. I ask of u to please reconsider & stop the price gouging in NY ..
