I look at my two young kids and cry thinking about what kids and their parents are enduring in these detention centers where abuse is the the operating system. These facilities must close and these kids and families returned to their communities.
As the mom of an autistic son, seeing these children trying to get through day after day is horrible! This detention center must be closed and all families returned to their homes! This is barbaric and is not America 🥹
The young woman that endured this comment and unwanted touch is my niece. On top of the embarrassment, women and officers were laughing. What if your child was subjected to this unwanted action, would you still laugh? I hope there is an investigation and severe consequences for these school board members.
My ex was a predator. He chose me because I had 2 small kids already, then he waited, groomed them, manipulated, and then molested them. For 2 years. I was also abused mentally, emotionally, financially, and in other ways. The second I found out, I put a stop to it. He's serving a 20 year sentence. He will never see my or his own children or grandchildren ever again. I was blessed. Others are not. This is justice. This is how it needs to happen, period, without fail. He still thinks he was a good dad and did nothing wrong. No remorse, no apology. Well, no way he's coming near my loved ones ever again.
I was abused for years and he did it to two other children .he is about to walk out of jail.. three girls hurt and he spends 20 . Maybe 30 max and we spend a life time of struggling and pain sometimes.
Speaking from experience, victims of children predators have a life long sentence. It affects their mental health, which in turn affects their education
, their families, all their relationships. They have trust issues, self worth issues, may have
substance abuse. Allowing someone the chance to repeat this act again and again damages lives and society. These people don't deserve a chance to hurt another child.
I am in full support of Cam's Law especially after seeing the amount of child exploitation occurring all over social media. These children do not even understand the ramifications from having digital footprint that they gave zero permission to! The fact that these children will grow up and see their faces or life story all over the internet is so sad and it needs to be stopped! There is a 5 yr old in Florida being exploited all over the internet because of his mother and sadly her digital footprint is tied to his and he has no say so in the matter and it's all in the name of financial gain that is clearly not being put to use for his current needs such as a sensory room or even towards his future education and any future therapy he most certainly will need after seeing what his mom has put all over the internet. This also applies to many other children being exploited for financial gain at the expense of their future livelihood.
I’ve been watching this for a while and it breaks my heart. I was never able to have children so seeing this is heartbreaking. I’d love to come in and scoop them up and take them home with me, but I know that’s not logical. I’ve watched this little boy be ignored and abused in so many different ways emotionally mentally physically all of it. The saddest part of all is that the people who are in charge of helping this little boy are not doing their jobs and they’re not protecting this little boy they’re not protecting him at all. They have so much evidence and I do not know what the problem is. We need to do better. We need to listen when somebody says something like they’re supposed to. See something say something they need to also listen to something and do something.
