Stop allowing big corporations to force people out of their own businesses and neighborhoods. You then double down to spit in our faces by calling it “growth” when in fact it’s yet another instance of corporate greed destroying our communities. We the people, the real people in the working class, support hard-working citizens following the laws, doing things the right way and in good conduct. We the people don’t rely on big corporate. We don’t invite them to poison our people, murder the land to tear down trees and vegetation, or further destroy our culture. For a fucking Chick-fil-a?! Stop choosing CEOs and conglomerates over residents.

I love my community. It is diverse and a walkable neighborhood. While walking, one will notice that it happens to have a large population of LGBTQ residents. Why on earth would we want a racist and bigoted restaurant in our neighborhood? Eduardo’s Taqueria is a small business that makes up our community along with many other small businesses. If we allow a large corporation bulldoze this one small business, it will set precedent for others to be closed down as well. Save our community! Please sign the petition.

We drive across town to come eat at Taqueria Eduardo once a week . It is absolutely delicious and the staff is so kind and friendly. It would be devastating to lose such a gem of a restaurant !!

This restaurant, “Eduardo’s Taqueria” has been significant for my family and I, my children grew up on this restaurant and hope to not take it away.

One fast food chain at the expense of two successful small businesses? No way! Eduardo’s is a jewel and local hotspot in San Jose. This is potential project will only ruin the local offerings.

We are either serious about improving housing through mixed use near public transportation or we aren't. This area is served by regular bus routes and is on close proximity to the train station for trains, light rail and BART. This is no place for a single story fast food drive through restaurant, or we aren't serious about housing and transportation viability.

The restaurant, "Eduardo's Taqueria" is very important to my family and I because my children and husband have always came here and it would suck to see it gone

Taqueria Eduardo has been a staple for me when I lived in San Jose during my college years. Their carnitas fries are my favorite! Please keep these unique mom and pop spots that represent San Jose’s community!!

This property already has a thriving restaurant. Eduardo's has good food and is popular with the people who actually live in this neighborhood. Why are we even considering destroying that for the sake of a fast food place run by a racist, homophobic company?
