This is it—the final hours! Our petition has gained incredible momentum with over 4,795 verified signatures, and now we're in the home stretch. The decision on the proposed Chick-fil-A project is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16th, at 1:30 p.m. before the San Jose City Council.

We've been told that "not enough neighbors voiced concerns" and that this "doesn't seem to matter that much to residents". We know that's not true. It matters deeply. This isn't just about a fast-food restaurant; it's about whether we get to have a say in the future of our neighborhood and whether we stand up for responsible development.

Now is the time to show them how much we care. We need to flood City Hall with our voices in these last hours to show them this project matters to all of us.

  “Hi, I’m a resident of District 6. I want you to know I strongly oppose Chik-FilA’s project at 1301 West San Carlos. Please stop Chick-fil-A displacement of local businesses. We want responsible redevelopment that helps the neighborhood, not another fast food joint that hurts it.”
