As someone who deeply cares about modernizing education in our digital age, I strongly support this petition to update Clinton High School's technology policies and email domain system. Having seen similar issues in schools across the country, I believe addressing these technology restrictions is crucial for student success in today's world. Students everywhere need access to relevant educational resources and tools to stay competitive and prepare for their futures. Overly restrictive technology policies can hinder research capabilities and limit access to valuable learning materials that are essential for modern education. When schools block too many legitimate educational websites and applications, it creates unnecessary barriers to learning and collaboration. The email domain issue is particularly concerning, as it can prevent students from fully participating in educational opportunities. Many academic platforms and programs require school email verification, and outdated or non-standard email domains can create unnecessary complications for students trying to access these resources. While online safety is important, many schools have successfully found ways to protect students while providing appropriate access to digital resources. A balanced approach to technology access has become standard practice in modern education. I encourage Clinton High School's administration to consider: 1. Updating the website filtering system to better align with current educational needs 2. Modernizing the school email domain 3. Implementing technology policies that protect students while supporting their educational goals Thank you for considering these important changes that could significantly improve the educational experience for Clinton High School students.

The Explore page used to be part of my daily routine. Now if I even think about it (which is rare), I never see the most amazing projects get on Trending. The best game designer I know hasn't been on Trending despite the widespread popularity and amazing scope of his game, which took years of hard work to complete.

Scratch was way different 4 years ago, it was a safe, (family)friendly place, and there was hardly any bullying, basically all content was kid-friendly, and i had made lots of good friends who were very kind people, but know its all changed, its hard to explain how different it is now, and would take up to much space explaining how it is different. I hope you hear my message and sign this petition. Have a nice day and take care! - Sincerely, QueenSylveonStar

Brandon was the father to not only my kids but others you’ve taken a big piece of their life they’ve now lost one of their biggest cheerleaders they won’t have him there for their biggest mile stones in life his oldest graduates in 4 months and now he won’t be in that crowd

I had the opportunity to meet Brandon in Fort Dodge prison 5 years ago. I picked up our friendship back on the streets but have since changed my life and walk in the kingdom of God now. Brandon was a good person and just because you have a past that does not define you as a person. Everyone deserves to be treated fair and no man with a gun, police officer or not has the same power as God to stop our clocks. If you are scared then get a different job, but don't just start pulling the trigger and try to explain later......That's not justice. R.i.p Bam.....

I had the privilege of getting to know Brandon during one of the most difficult times in his life, and in that time, we became true friends. Despite the challenges he faced, Brandon remained a kind-hearted and respectful person. He never let his struggles define him, and he was working hard to overcome them. Tragically, his life was cut short by the reckless actions of a few officers in the DSMPD, officers who failed to follow proper protocol, lacked the necessary training, and, most importantly, failed to see Brandon as the human being he was. Where was the communication? Where was the compassion? Instead, they took the life of a father, a son, an uncle, and a friend, someone who deserved understanding, not judgment. My heart breaks knowing that Brandon was unfairly labeled by a flawed justice system. He was more than their assumptions, and he was fighting to build a better future. I was so proud to see the progress he was making. Rest in peace, my friend. Until we meet again. Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Brandon was the father to my 3 children. He loved them more than words can explain. While he was struggling to correct the mistakes of his past and barreling through the riptide we know it’s like getting out of the legal system once your in there, his life was taken. I have spoken with him many times in depth with tear running down the both of our faces about how badly he just wanted to do better and be better for all of his children. And now because the Des Moines police couldn’t execute a warrant check without non lethal options he will neverrrrrrr have the chance become the man I knew he could be. He will never again cheer his daughter on at her softball games, he will never again be in the baseball stands or football stands rooting for his boys. He will never be able to teach them how to change a tire or do an oil change. (we all know Brandon loved cars) So much taken by taking his life. He was unarmed, there was NO need for lethal force to be taken

I can only hope someone important will see this. But seriously, CEC what are y'all doing??? Your restaurant was specifically designed for its ground-breaking animatronic shows! This isn't just coming from a heartbreaking nostalgic loss, but surely you realize with a certain mainstream game that has revolutionized the internet- your excuse to make everything a screen, being that "you want to adhere to the newer technical generation" id assure you they much prefer and would dig with the bots rather than oversized ipads. I'm also peeved you took it upon yourselves to be downright DIRTY to Aaron Fetcher, then ruin his art with again- overgrown IPADS. I couldn't be more ashamed in your business. And clearly, you all have made more than enough money over the years to not only bring them back, but honestly make them better than before. I love and miss my old robotic friends, and to Aaron,, Mitzi was always my favorite.💜 Hear me, CEC. We will not rest until you decide to straighten up your act. Thank you- .

I grew up with a pet rooster. He was a wonderful pet, and I have very fond memories of him. He lived to be 13 years old! Please make an exception for this child. Pets are important to children’s happiness and they learn many lessons by caring for them.
