As a person who served in the US military for many years, Jewish descent, country boy from Oklahoma that was this a big supporter of the Iraq war and pretty much every other war America has been involved in.
This atrocity has opened my eyes to take a deeper look into what is really happening (dropping 2500 pound bombs on a bunch of poor people to steal their land).
It was hard for me to put myself in other people’s shoes. Just imagine if Russia was given half of the United States of America by the UN and over the last 75 years, they displaced killed hundreds of thousands of Americans 1948 Nakba) and had them all corralled in Oregon (Gaza). Where they are now dropping 2500 pound bombs on refugee camps buildings in discriminately killing human beings (70% women and children live stream genocide, we’re all watching now).
American history is not perfect, but if we’re ever going to be anything we claim to be, we have to stop supporting the State of Israel’s attempt to exterminate the Palestinian people.
