As a volunteer responsible for a rescue I know first hand the struggle as a result of the lack of funding, increase in surrenders, reduce adoption rates and ever increasing vet costs. Something has to change!

The first lost her home when her owner went into Hospice care; the second found himself without a home just short of his 16th birthday and our third was a long time street kitty doing it tough. Without Rescue organisations none of these would have had the chance that meant everything to them. Like our Prime Minister, please prioritise kindness and support refuges and rescues.
