Amazon MGM need to understand that you cannot revive a franchise blindly trying to appeal to a vague broad audience. This franchise has proven time and time again that its fanbase are dedicated and bring in new viewers themselves. I myself was introduced to the franchise by my mother when I was a child, and I have since introduced my husband! By greenlighting the show being developed by the original team, you will be honouring the existing fanbase who have been waiting over a decade, whilst bringing in a new fresh audience as Martin Gero has already promised. Don't make a big mistake and ignore this franchise, and don't make an even bigger mistake by bringing in a different creative team who have no love or deep understaning of the hundreds of hours of lore - resulting in a vapid and empty show that NO-ONE will want to tune into. Please, allow Martin Gero and the team to do what they do best!
Katie supported: Save Stargate with Martin Gero!I am part of the younger generation (gen Z) and love this franchise, if I could buy more quality and genuine merch I would. I’ve found very few shows that have all the things I find interesting in a sci-fi show from time travel to political tension to philosophical conundrums all within a wonderful story about a team/found family that’s also in a very expansive universe. On top of having some of the best cgi and practical effects of similar shows that I have found. Much like recent franchises this one can be so much more than just one thing, like Star Trek and Star Wars it can venture into smugglers and crime stories or galactic events that reshape the region or a story about the background characters that the main characters never remember or a simple story about smaller things like a family or and village needing help. I’ve read up on some ideas about the potential of the series’s futures and I’m ecstatic, it would be a terrible thing to just see this franchise put in a box and forgotten, I would love to see more and share this with the next generation.

My young, early-20s son-in-law was actually the one who sent the notice about the new Stargate to all of us with great excitement. The word of mouth comes from the dedicated Stargate base, and I believe, no, I know that you have made a mistake.
