I worked at Redwood House from 1996-2001, and I've been involved in a number of mental health settings since then. Redwood House remains an extraordinary place, in my experience--an oasis and a true healing community in a challenging world. It's very important to maintain its live and presence.

I can’t imagine what would happen to these people if they suddenly couldn’t gain access to service centers like Redwood House. Please don’t close this place… Someone’s life could depend on it.

Unfortunately too often patients are sent back out into the world with inadequate treatment, or end up in jail or homeless on the streets. It doesn't have to be this way. We can do better.
