Fire Susan Wojcicki as YouTube CEO

Since February 2014, Susan Wojcicki became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YouTube, which is part of Google. Under her leadership things started to went downhill and caused the reputation of YouTube and Google from the copyright controversy to the 2016 controversial YouTube PR Nightmare known as The Ad-Friendly Monetization Policy which was severely criticized by various YouTubers that the new rules censors and silenced YouTubers' freedom of speech and their platforms by demonetizing YouTube videos that deals with controversial subjects (like tragedies, natural disasters, politics, health, and etc.) and YouTubers loved Freedom Of Speech, but the new Ad-Friendly Monetization rules are still a dire form of Censorship by TPTB at Google and YouTube. The current Ad-Friendly Monetization Policy is still unfair to YouTubers. We also want that policy abolished or changed for the better. The controversial Ad-Friendly Policy at YouTube is one of the few reasons YouTube went downhill and turn for the worse and into the wrong direction. The PR Nightmare has to be fixed, make YouTube and Google go into the right direction by having common sense rules like No Tolerance Policy on YouTube Trolls, False Flagging, and censoring music just like Internet Vigilantes like UMG_MK trying to do a witch hunt on removing YouTube videos of songs by The Beatles. We want YouTube and Google go into the right direction and fire YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and Make YouTube Great Again!

Stop abusive Hotel Practices

Ever had a Bad Hotel Experience? Planning a family trip can be pretty stressful and the last thing you need is a bad motel / hotel experience. However, its becoming more and more common that you don’t get what you pay for when it comes to booking online. Whether its a change in price, a completely different room, a much lower quality than you expected, or advertising items that are not working or not there at all.  TruTV features a short video on how illegal business practices are even spreading to new businesses like Air BnB and are leaving consumers to self enforce the laws. Adam Ruins Everything - Why Your Airbnb May Be ILLEGAL Amazon has been flooded with fake reviews and manipulated product ranking YouTube has also been called out for being flooded with fake views Youtube spokeswoman admits, "There is room for improvement" when it comes to warning users about fraud and abuse.  This is not to mention the fake millionaires selling the secret on YouTube and defrauding many consumers out of there money through deceptive marketing tactics. For example, Sam Ovens (currently running many ads on YouTube for his Consulting.com business) presents himself as a millionaire who will teach you the secret, for a very high cost of course. His LinkedIn Profile states that he moved to New York and made $20 Million. The profile also states he started his NY Business in 2013, however a quick search on the NY Corporation and Business Entity Database reveals the company Consulting.com was started in March of 2017. Indeed, archive.org confirms his website was in the development phase in March of 2017. He is one of many on YouTube who extremely misrepresent themselves in order to gain consumer confidence and eventually, their cash! And what is being done about it? When congress demands recommendations, the FTC is too slow in acting to adequately defend consumers. So here we are. What are your Rights as a Consumer? There is a large gap between consumer rights violations and consumer rights awareness. Our proposals seek to close this gap. Proposed Changes; Require online businesses to display the Better Business Bureau rating of their organization or the organization they are marketing. Release a smartphone application similar to the Better Business Bureau’s smartphone application in order to simplify access to consumer rights information AND provide ez file for complaints Our goals with each of these proposed changes; Show consumers a rating that has not been manipulated by travel agencies, property owners, paid reviewers, affiliates, etc. Level the playing field by making consumer rights information and complaint systems easily accessible according to modern standards. i.e smartphone applications We Are Contributing to an Ongoing Effort The Federal Trade Commission have been directed by Congress to produce a report regarding recommended enforcement for online hotel booking markets engaging in deceptive marketing. I want to use this opportunity to bring attention to the larger problem at hand and make recommendations that are in the best interests of the consumer. Click Here to Read the FTC's full report  Although their report has already been provided to congress, I want to show support for what the citizens feel should be the response. Our hope is that the report will be updated to reflect the proposals supported by the people.  Our dedication is to work with our government, by showing mass support for citizen approved proposals that accurately reflect our needs. Additionally, we want to show our government that we desire a solution that is up to date with todays on-demand culture.  According to statista.com, “In 2018, 52 percent of all website traffic worldwide was generated through mobile phones.” It only makes sense that our government provides information about consumer rights in a manner that is consistent with how citizens receive information today, which is through our mobile devices.  We are Louder Together We live in a world where anything can be publicized and its because of social influence, power is being given back to the people. Let us use our voice together as one and fight to defend our families from illegal business practices. ====== The Story Behind the Petition Our family was planning a reunion and we decided to book a room with Oceana Inn Santa Cruz through booking.com. At the time of reservation, booking.com had Oceana Inn listed with a 7/10 rating. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed it was not the room advertised on booking.com. I immediately asked for the correct room or a refund. Both were denied.  After my experience with the motel, I went to yelp.com and google.com to see Oceana Inn Santa Cruz reviews which ranked the motel at 2/5 stars, which equates to 4/10 stars. There is a significant distinction between the quality you would expect at a 7/10 motel compared to a 4/10 motel. After reading several Yelp reviews for this motel, it became clear that this business has continued to operate for some time now despite several public complaints regarding illegal business practices.  What’s the problem here? Consumers are not trained to handle complaints using the proper channels within our government. Instead we are systematically trained to rely on the private sector to handle our complaints and so we turn to online review platforms such as Yelp and Google as a way of getting some resolution to our problem by leaving negative reviews that reflect an honest experience.  But who is responsible for monitoring all the bad reviews and doing something about it when there is clearly a pattern of illegal business practices such as false advertising, bait and switch, predatory lending, and so on? Government needs to catch up with how people have decided to speak out! People have been preconditioned to speak out on platforms that do not have the consumer’s interest at its core. That is why I propose the following; Require online businesses to display the Better Business Bureau rating of their organization or the organization they are marketing. Level the playing field by making consumer rights information and complaint systems easily accessible according to modern standards. i.e smartphone applications Our dedication is to work with our government, by showing mass support for citizen approved proposals that accurately reflect our needs. Additionally, we want to show our government that we desire a solution that is up to date with todays on-demand culture.

Dear YouTube, Give The BTS BEING BTS Channel Back To The Right Owner!

Hello everyone, My name is Yassin Adam, and I am the owner of the YouTube channel BTS BEING BTS. Here’s a link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzHZ55mN5hhOavD8bgVstmQ I created this channel back in 2012, but started posting about BTS in 2016. Recently, on August 25, 2017, the channel was hacked by someone who I don’t know. I have several screenshots of messages I’ve received and emails I’ve replied to right before the time of the hacking, and I have screenshots saved of when the hacking took place.  I do have suspicions of what may have lead to the hacking but I do not know for a fact if those are true.  When I was hacked, I had only a little bit of time before I was logged out to make a post and to try to secure the account. I made a community post warning others that I had been hacked, but I was not successful in trying to secure the account with the 2-Step verification. It had been too late. I took to twitter to express my feelings and to notify others of the situation. I was able to get ahold of YouTube’s Twitter support team as well. We had a good talk and eventually disabled the channel, and I thought progress was being made, but days later, I had realized they had given access to the hacker again.  This person has access to all my google accounts linked to the channel. One of the main reasons why I was not able to restore my channel quickly is because I could not restore my email. The hacker unlinked my email from the channel and switched it with their personal email. They then changed many important informations and deleted security questions, and my recovery email in my email account. They really don’t want me to restore the channel.  They also tried hacking my twitter to keep me quiet and off of the internet. I have proof, and even tweeted out when the situation was going on. And luckily I secured my account then. This person wants a channel to post on, and took mine. They are impersonating me on my own channel, and are even reuploading other creators contents as me. They are portraying me as a thief.  There’s nothing much I could do.  I’ve tried everything I could to save my channel. I’ve called Google and YouTube several times. I’ve spoken with YouTube’s twitter support team several times as well, but they aren’t really helping as much as I feel they could be.  Each week with YT’s team it’s like we keep starting over. We were supposed to switch everything to another google account where I could access, but for some reason, I believe they’re sending verification emails over to the hacker’s email, and they just keep restoring.  They’ve taken my channel and changed the name to iBTS. I NEED EVERYONE’S HELP. Can we all work together to get things back to how they were?  Even now, I am missing over 50+ videos on my channel. I love uploading onto my channel and promoting BTS to newer fans. I try my best to promote streaming, and voting as well on my channel, and I even upload Live Stages from time to time, as well as compilations. I had uploaded the GoGo performance as well with over 100M Views that was recently deleted by this hacker.  I really would like to get my channel back to promote BTS more. This is the platform I use as well to get rid of my stress, and I truly love seeing the interactions I have with other people when I am uploading, or even making community posts from time to time. I recently even started sharing charity campaigns for a group I work with called One In An ARMY. Promoting this on my channel helped this project grow, and I would like to continue sharing more campaigns. I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked for just because someone else wants what I have for their own personal use.  Please help me by signing and sharing this petition.  If & when I am able to regain access to my channel, I will delete this campaign and secure my channel as best as I can. Thank you.
