I am 74 living on a very limited income and cannot afford to have my leaves picked up
I also have been working for Guilford County Schools since 1985. I have had back surgery shoulder replacements and bi-lateral knees replacement.
The city yard waste pickup skipped my full container this week and two calls to get them to come get the leaves have resulted in an open ticket and no action. This now leaves me unable to use the container for the new leaves that are accumulating. It is bad that they discontinued the leaf service but it is especially galling to then not pick up from the container as promised.
I am 72 yrs.old on a fixed income. I live in the Random Woods area. As a tax payer the cities decision to take the leaf collection service from us is very disturbing. It's time to get the people who make these decisions to be voted out! We have the power to do so!
