We regret to inform you…Uniting for Ukraine has officially been suspended by the Trump Administration. We are awaiting more information. There is a 90 day suspension in order. We are more than disappointed in hearing this move made by President Trump and his administration. While we all hoped that they would not betray Ukrainians, it appears they are. We ask you to make moves today. Sign our petition. Let’s show them how many of us support Ukrainians in the USA!!!!! 

This petition stems from a personal and deeply-rooted concern. As humans, as good people, Ukrainians are possibly being unfairly targeted for deportation, despite having nowhere to return to safely. While others argue that the current Administration won’t do this, we see evidence that contradicts this statement. Ukrainians arrived through a legal program. .In turn, administration officials stated that President Trump believes many of these programs were never legal to begin with.
Their homeland continues to be ravaged by destruction, and sending them back is akin to casting them directly into chaos. This war they are fleeing is beyond devastating, and we share a common enemy. 
We believe the administration will go after those who left European countries to come here and deport them first. 
Ukrainian immigrants are not just individuals escaping war-torn scenarios, but also responsible contributors to our economy. Countless Ukrainians diligently pay their taxes while never reaping the benefits in return. It's time we put a stop to these erroneous perceptions.

Indeed, tensions and mistrust can arise in any society, but it is essential to understand that Ukrainians are not the problem. Instead, we need to confront deceit and concentrate on promoting compassion, understanding, and long-lasting solutions.

The program Uniting for Ukraine gives people a temporary parole status here in the USA. These people are here legally. 

Our policy should be governed by facts, not unfounded assumptions. Therefore, we urge everyone to take action by signing this petition. It's about standing up against unjust deportation practices and confirming a stronger commitment to humanity. Your signature could transform the lives of thousands of deserving people. 
Help us protect those who are here and give those who applied for the program a chance. Together we can get Uniting for Ukraine reinstated.

We, the undersigned, urge the current administration to protect and preserve the Uniting for Ukraine program, which provides a lifeline to Ukrainian families seeking refuge from war and devastation. This program not only reflects America’s long-standing tradition of offering sanctuary to those in need but also strengthens our communities with the valuable contributions of Ukrainian immigrants.

The people of the United States choose to help these individuals and vow to in doing so. They create no threat or harm. 
Canceling this program and deporting Ukrainians is not only inhumane but also detrimental to our shared values of compassion, freedom, and opportunity. These families have endured immense suffering and deserve the chance to rebuild their lives in peace and security.

We call on the administration to prioritize humanity and compassion by:
 1. Continuing the Uniting for Ukraine program and accepting applications already submitted (among guidelines).
 2. Offer permanent protections for those already in the U.S. under this program. No more threats of deportation.
 3. Provide a pathway for Ukrainian immigrants to contribute fully to our society without fear of future deportation. 
4. Stand in solidarity with Ukrainians. 

Together, we can ensure America remains a beacon of hope and justice for those fleeing war, persecution and devastation.
