NEVEREST Has Worked very hard To spread there music all around Canada, They got on there bus and toured across canada with there first single Called "ABOUT US" to get it on every canadian music station across canada,They have released a CD Wich so many Canadians have fell in love with, They are very talented musicians and work very hard to get the recognition they deserve,In june 2010 they had the chance to be the opening act for two famous bands known everywhere 'New Kids On The Block & Back Street Boys, There music is so meaningful and Not Like the usual you hear these days, NEVEREST is a band That deserves to get noticed out of canada ,there Compassion for there fans is unbelievable, and I have never seen a band communicate with there fans like they do, through video chats, video's to fans, Personal messages to fans, tweets ect.. This Band Needs and deserves to BE HEARD By everyone Not only Canadians, Once you hear them You will be hooked, They Are New Talent And Are Simply amazing! You wouldn’t know it by looking at the relatively clean-cut nature of the four guys that make up Canadian pop band Neverest, but the band’s roots lie in something much heavier than rosy pop music.  Neverest vocalist-guitarist Spyros ‘Spee’ Chalkiotis will be the first to admit that in a time not so long ago, he played in a heavy metal band. So how exactly do you go from writing six- to eight-minute metal opuses to crafting easily digestible pop songs?

“ Each of us in the band have come from such different backgrounds,” a genial Chalkiotis starts. “Every one of us in the band actually played in metal bands when we were younger but as a musician, you grow and go through different phases and genres of music in terms of what appeals we were younger but as a musician,  you grow and go through different phases and genres of music in terms of what appeals goal was to have a wide listening audience and to do something that I love.”

One of the arguably biggest coups for the guys in Neverest has been having their band added to the upcoming Canadian dates of the NKOTBSB tour. Matching Neverest up with two of the biggest pop bands of all time (New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys) seems like a no-brainer as their pop hooks should be easily digested by fans there to see the main acts perform. The excitement in Chalkiotis’ voice when talk turns to his band’s good fortune is palpable.

“Everything seems kind of like a dream; it is very humbling,” he says. “We have been so blessed with the support we have had from radio, our fans and our management team from day one. There are so many other bands out there who would have loved to land these shows and I think the fact we landed the shows is a testament to the team we have working with us. I don’t think that any of us can begin to understand the amounts of work that must have gone into making it happen.”

The band released their first single, “About Us”, in October 2010. It quickly reached Number 1 on the MuchMusic Top 30 released in March 2011 and quickly charted the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 currently peaking at Number 52[5].Their music video for “Everything” received a nomination for the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards for Cinematography of the Year[7]Their second single entitled “Everything” was released in March 2011 and quickly charted the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 

As their name suggests Neverest are absolutely relentless in the pursuit of their musical goals. “We all have our own Mount Everest,” says frontman, Spyros ‘Spee’ Chalkiotis, “and we’re never going to rest until we accomplish the things we want to as a band.”
