👉 We, the undersigned citizens of the European Union, request the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of the Interior, the General Inspectorate of Security Forces and the State Prosecutor's Office and the European Commission to actively engage and cooperate with the Croatian authorities in the investigation of the disappearance of Mr. Alex Burkov (35 years old, businessman), who was last seen on 22.6.2025 at 18:00 on the island of Molat (Croatia).

Reasons for the petition:

Mr. Burkov has Czech citizenship and the Czech authorities are obliged to protect their citizens even abroad.

Anton Fischer, a well-known businessman from the Czech Republic and a person with a controversial past, was one of the last to see Mr. Burkov.

The course of the investigation and the steps taken by the Czech authorities are not yet sufficiently publicly known.

Mr. Burkov's parents and family request clear information and regular reports on the progress of the investigation.

Active involvement of the European Commission representative and his cooperation with the Croatian authorities

Preparation of an official request from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs for active support to the Croatian authorities

Establishment of a special working group of the Ministry of the Interior and GIBS for international coordination

Regular information to the family and the public about the progress of the investigation

Involvement of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic - recommendations for increased supervision of similar cases of citizens abroad
