සෑම වසරකම දක්ෂ සිසුන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල් ගණිත අධ්‍යාපනය, තරඟ, පුහුණු වැඩසටහන්, සහ අධ්‍යාපනික ඉදිරියට යාම සඳහා විශාල කාලයක්, උත්සාහයක්, සහ සම්පත් කැප කරති.

සිසුන්ට සේවය කරන ආයතන විනිවිදභාවයෙන්, වගකීමෙන්, සහ නීතිමය හා සදාචාරාත්මක අඛණ්ඩතාවයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බවට විශ්වාසයක් තිබිය යුතුය.

සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්න අධ්‍යාපනික පරිසරයක් සඳහා අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ:

විනිවිද පෙනෙන පාලන ක්‍රම,
වගකීම් සහගත මූල්‍ය කළමනාකරණය,
පැහැදිලි තීරණ ගැනීමේ ක්‍රියාවලි,
වගවීමේ යාන්ත්‍රණ,
සහ මහජන විශ්වාසය.
විනිවිදභාවය සීමිත වූ විට, විශ්වාසය දුර්වල විය හැක.

විශ්වාසය දුර්වල වූ විට, අවසානයේදී දුක් විඳින්නේ සිසුන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල්ය.

අදාළ බලධාරීන්ගෙන් සහ පාර්ශ්වකරුවන්ගෙන් අප ගෞරවයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ පහත කරුණු සඳහා සහය දක්වන ලෙසයි.

1. ස්වාධීන සමාලෝචනය
ගණිත හා ඔලිම්පියාඩ් පරිසරය තුළ පාලන ක්‍රම, සංවිධාන ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය, සහ මෙහෙයුම් ක්‍රියාවලි පිළිබඳ ස්වාධීන සමාලෝචනයක් සිදු කිරීම.

2. මූල්‍ය විනිවිදභාවය
අදාළ අවස්ථාවලදී මූල්‍ය තොරතුරු, අරමුදල් ලැබුණු මූලාශ්‍ර, වියදම්, සහ සම්බන්ධ සංවිධාන ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පිළිබඳ තොරතුරු ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කිරීම.

3. පාලන විනිවිදභාවය
පාලන ව්‍යුහයන්, තීරණ ගැනීමේ ක්‍රියාවලි, පත්කිරීම්, සහ අධීක්ෂණ යාන්ත්‍රණ පිළිබඳ පැහැදිලි ලේඛනගත කිරීම.

4. සිසුන් කේන්ද්‍ර කරගත් වගවීම
සිසුන්ගේ සුභසාධනය, අධ්‍යාපනික අවස්ථා, සාධාරණත්වය, සහ ආයතනික අඛණ්ඩතාවය ප්‍රමුඛත්වය දෙන ප්‍රතිපත්ති ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම.

5. දිගුකාලීන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ
මහජන විශ්වාසය ශක්තිමත් කරන, සහ අනාගත පරම්පරාවන් සඳහා අධ්‍යාපනික පරිසරය වැඩිදියුණු කරන සාධනීය නිර්දේශ ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට ලෝක මට්ටමේ ගණිත දක්ෂතා ඇති බව අප විශ්වාස කරමු.

එම දක්ෂතාවය නිසි ලෙස වර්ධනය කිරීමට ශක්තිමත් ආයතන අත්‍යවශ්‍ය බවද අප විශ්වාස කරමු.

මෙම පෙත්සම කිසිදු පුද්ගලයෙකුට පහර දීම සඳහා නොවේ.

Protecting Sri Lankan Mathematics Student Interests Through Transparency and  Governance

Every year, talented students and their families dedicate significant time, effort, and resources to mathematics education, competitions, training programs, and academic advancement.

Students deserve confidence that the institutions serving them operate with transparency, accountability, and integrity.

Healthy educational ecosystems depend on:

transparent governance,
responsible financial stewardship,
clear decision-making processes,
accountability mechanisms,
and public trust.
When transparency is limited, trust can weaken.

When trust weakens, students and families ultimately suffer.

What We Are Requesting
We respectfully call upon the relevant authorities and stakeholders to support:

1. Independent Review
An independent review of governance and operational practices within the mathematics and Olympiad ecosystem.

2. Financial Transparency
Publication of financial information, funding sources, expenditures, and related organizational practices where appropriate.

3. Governance Transparency
Clear documentation of governance structures, decision-making processes, appointments, and oversight mechanisms.

4. Student-Centered Accountability
Policies that prioritize student welfare, educational opportunity, fairness, and institutional integrity.

5. Long-Term Reform
Constructive recommendations that strengthen public confidence and improve the educational ecosystem for future generations.

Our Position
We believe Sri Lanka possesses world-class mathematical talent.

We also believe strong institutions are essential for developing that talent.

This petition is not intended to attack individuals.

It is intended to encourage transparency, accountability, and healthy educational systems that serve students, families, educators, and the broader public.

Together, we can help build a stronger future for mathematics education in Sri Lanka.
