वेद और वैदिक सनातन शास्त्रों की शिक्षा गुरुकुल पद्धति में ही समुचित रूप से मिलना सम्भव है , शिक्षालय (स्कूल) में नहीं। जबकि आधुनिक पाठ्यक्रम के इंग्लिश आदि भाषाएं व महत्वपूर्ण गणित और वैज्ञानिक विषयों को आसानी से गुरुकुल पद्धति में साथ में पढ़ाया जा सकता है, और अनेक गुरुकुलों में अभी भी पढ़ाया जा रहा है।

 

Education of Vedas and Vedic Sanatan Shastras is possible to attain in the Gurukul system only, not in the Shikshalay (school). Whereas languages ​​like English and important and useful subjects like mathematics and science of the modern curriculum can be easily taught with the Gurukul system, and are still being taught in many Gurukuls.

 

विश्व के इतिहास में भारत विद्या के लिए जाना गया है। आधुनिकता और भौतिकवाद की अंधी दौड़ में,  हम भारतीय भी विद्या से विमुख होकर, धनोपार्जन हेतु केवल शिक्षा की ओर दौड़ रहे हैं। शिक्षा हमें शिक्षित बनाती है। लेकिन क्या एक शिक्षित व्यक्ति : 

 

1) रिश्वत नहीं लेता ? 

2) अपने से निम्न स्तर के लोगों का शोषण नहीं करता ? 

3) व्यभिचारी और बलात्कारी नहीं होता ? 

4) देशद्रोही नहीं होता ? 

5) कायर नहीं होता ? 

6) तनाव में नहीं रहता ? 

7) समाज में धार्मिक उन्माद उत्पन्न नहीं करता ? 

8) पूरे जीवन धन के लिए मशीन नहीं बना रहता ?

 

India has been renowned for its historical knowledge. Amid the pursuit of modernity and materialism, we Indians are diverting from vidya, prioritizing education solely for financial gain. While education may make us literate, it does not necessarily make us ethical or compassionate. Let us think ourselves, does an educated person:

1. Not take bribes?

2. Not exploit people of lower status than him?

3. Not be an adulterer or rapist?

4. Not be a traitor?

5. Not be a coward?

6. Not remain under stress?

7. Not create religious frenzy in society?

8. Not remain a money-making machine throughout his life?

 

 

शिक्षा तो प्राप्त हुई , लेकिन  आज भारतीय व्यक्ति को सर्वांगीण उन्नति की ओर ले जाकर एक कल्याणकारी और शांतिपूर्ण विश्व का निर्माण करने वाली विद्या से अछूते रह गए।  सच्ची विद्या वह है जो व्यक्ति को 

1) स्वयं से पहले दूसरे के हित में सोचना सिखाती हो  

2) सुख को ईश्वर का आशीर्वाद और दुःख को तप के रूप में देखना सिखाती हो 

3) भौतिक उन्नति में ही नहीं बल्कि, आध्यात्मिक उन्नति में भी अत्युत्कृष्ट सुख देखना सिखाती हो 

4) जो व्यक्ति को वह विज्ञान सिखाती हो जिसमें प्रकृति को बिना क्षति पाहुचाऍ मानव का वास्तविक कल्याण हो 

5) वह व्यक्ति को आवश्यकतानुसार धानर्जन करना और बचे समय में अपने परिवार को समाज, राष्ट्र और विश्व कल्याण के लिए योग्य बनना एवं योगदान देना सिखाती हो 

6) प्रतिदिन शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक उन्नति करते हुये जीवन के वास्तविक लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करा सकती हो  

 

Traditional education failed to install the holistic knowledge needed for progress and a peaceful world. True education is that which teaches a person:

 

1. To think about the welfare of others before his own,

2. To see happiness as God's blessing and sorrow as penance,

3. To excel not only in material progress but also in spiritual progress, teaching you to see happiness,

4. Which teaches a person the science that brings real welfare to human beings without harming nature,

5. It teaches a person to earn money as per his need and, in the remaining time, to become capable and contribute to the welfare of his family, society, nation, and the world.

6. By making physical, mental, and spiritual progress every day, you can achieve the real goal of life.

 

यह विद्या आती है वैदिक शास्त्रों के अध्ययन एवं उसमें निहित ज्ञान विज्ञान से। वेद : जो न किसी संप्रदाय का है, न किसी राष्ट्र का बल्कि वेद और वैदिक शास्त्र तो सम्पूर्ण मानव मात्र और सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्मांड के कल्याण हेतु है। वेद का सांप्रदायिकता और क्षेत्रवाद से कोई नाता नहीं। क्योंकि वेद तो साक्षात ईश्वर की वाणी है, और सारे ब्रह्मांड के रचयिता तो वही ईश्वर हैं। वेद ही सभी ज्ञान और विज्ञान का मूल है।

 

वेद और वैदिक शास्त्रों की शिक्षा गुरुकुल पद्धति में मिल सकती है , शिक्षालय (स्कूल) में नहीं।

 

This wisdom, rooted in Vedic scriptures, transcends sects and nations, focusing on universal welfare. Vedic education thrives in Gurukuls, not conventional schools, offering benefits such as equal, free education, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development, and fostering self-reliant, virtuous individuals. Gurukuls produce science experts benefiting society without environmental harm. 

 

Education in Vedas and Vedic scriptures can be obtained in the Gurukul system, not in Shikshaalaya (school).

 

 

 

गुरुकुल की वैदिक शिक्षा के लाभ :

 

1. समाज के सभी वर्ग को समान एवं निःशुल्क शिक्षा
2. शारीरिक, बौद्धिक और आध्यात्मिक विकास
3. आत्मनिर्भर , स्वस्थ्य , मानसिक रूप से सबल, विद्वान , चरित्रवान, धार्मिक, परोपकारी व्यक्तियों  का निर्माण
4. मातृ और पितृभक्त व्यक्तियों  का निर्माण
5. ब्रह्मचर्य की ऊर्जा से युक्त, समाज को उन्नत संतान देने की योग्यता वाले व्यक्तियों का निर्माण
6. ऐसे व्यक्तियों  का निर्माण, जिसे संसार का कोई भी दु:ख निराशा (डिप्रेशन) में न डाल सके
7. ऐसे विज्ञान के ज्ञाताओं का निर्माण, जो समाज का केवल कल्याण ही करें (उसके आविष्कारों से न तो कोई प्रदूषण हो, न औषधि के साइड इफेक्ट, न ग्लेशियर्स की बर्फ पिघले, न धरती में उर्वरक/सीमेंट/प्लास्टिक का विष फैले, न अन्तरिक्ष में कचरा, न नदियां प्रदूषित हो , न हरे वृक्ष कटें, न पशुओं की हत्या हो , न हो कोई रेडिएशन आस पास )
8. हर विद्यार्थी को कृषि, गृह निर्माण, हस्तकला, आत्मरक्षा, युद्धकला, व्यापार (अर्थशास्त्र) , आयुर्वेद, ऋतुचर्या-आहार विहार और सफल गृहस्थ जीवन की विधि, राजनीति और विदेश नीति  पता हो
9. समाज का कोई भी वर्ग विधर्मियों की या किसी अन्य सांप्रदायिक संस्था में जाकर सांप्रदायिक कट्टरता आदि मानवघाती अवगुण नहीं सीख पाएगा अर्थात् गुरुकुल में पढ़ रहे बच्चो के कोमल मन में कोई सांप्रदायिक कट्टर व्यक्ति अपनी मतांधता नहीं भर पाएगा 
10. गुरुकुल से ऐसे बच्चों का निर्माण होगा जो किसी तथाकथित आसमानी किताब पे आँख बंद करके विश्वास नहीं करेंगे, अपितु शास्त्रों की तर्क शक्ति से उसका परीक्षण करेंगे
11. शिक्षालय (स्कूल) के भारी भरकम शुल्क से अभिभावक को मुक्ति मिलेगी। और वे अभिभावक,  धन के पीछे न भागकर अपने परिवार के साथ अधिक समय बिताएँगे और एक खुशहाल, विद्याप्रिय व चरित्रवान समाज के निर्माण में योगदान देंगे
12. सभी विद्यार्थी धार्मिक , चरित्रवान, विद्वान आचार्य/आचार्या के संरक्षण में दिन रात रहेंगे और एक चरित्रवान व्यक्ति बनेंगे।
13. अभिभावकों को ट्यूशन और प्राइवेट कोचिंग की चिंता नहीं करनी होगी
14. सभी विद्यार्थी को गुरुकुल की गोशाला से देशी गाय का अमृत तुल्य दूध , दही, घी प्राप्त होंगे 
15.  एक  व्यक्ति दूसरे व्यक्ति के केवल धन और वस्त्र को देखकर उसे सम्मान नहीं देगा, बल्कि उसके चरित्र और ज्ञान को देखकर सम्मान देगा
16. शिक्षालय गमन हेतु बस यातायात की मारा मारी समाप्त होगी
17. विद्यार्थी नशाखोरी के लत में पड़ने से बचेंगे
18.  समाज का हर एक व्यक्ति चरित्रवान, धार्मिक, सत्यवादी, सत्यमानी, सत्यकारी होगा और जीवन के वास्तविक लक्ष्य की ओर अग्रसर होगा।
19. प्रत्येक घर से अगरबत्ती और मोमबत्ती का जहरीला धुआँ नहीं, हवन की कल्याणकारी, वायु को प्रदूषण मुक्त करने वाली औषधियुक्त सुगंधित अग्नि की लपटें उठती दिखेंगी
20. वैदिक धर्म के अनुसार व्यक्ति कर्मफल और पुनर्जन्म के वास्तविक सिद्धान्त को जानने वाला होगा  और बुरे कर्मों से बचेगा जिससे समाज में पाप का ह्रास होगा ।
21. वर्णाश्रम व्यवस्था का आधार जन्मना नहीं बल्कि गुण , कर्म और स्वभाव से है, यह समझेगा।
     

 

Benefits of Vedic education at Gurukul:

 

1. Equal and free education for all sections of society.

2. Physical, intellectual, and spiritual development.

3. Creation of self-reliant, healthy, mentally strong, learned, characterful, religious, and philanthropic individuals.

4. Creation of maternal and paternalistic individuals.

5. Creation of individuals with the energy of celibacy and the ability to contribute advanced children to society.

6. Creation of individuals whom no worldly sorrow can plunge into depression.

7. Creation of science experts whose inventions will benefit society without causing pollution, side effects of medicines, melting of glacier ice, spreading of fertilizer/cement/plastic poison in the earth, harm to space, garbage, river pollution, cutting of green trees, killing of animals, or radiation.

8. Every student should acquire knowledge in agriculture, home construction, handicrafts, self-defence, warfare, business (economics), Ayurveda, rituals, diet, methods of successful family life, politics, and foreign policy.

9. No section of society will learn homicidal vices of communal fanaticism, etc., from heretics or any other communal institution. In other words, no communal fanatic will be able to install fanaticism in the tender minds of children studying in Gurukul.

10. Gurukul will produce children who do not blindly believe in any so-called heavenly book but test it with the logical power of scriptures.

11. Parents will be relieved of heavy school fees. These parents, instead of chasing money, will spend more time with their families and contribute to building a happy, learning-loving, and characterful society.

12. All students will stay day and night under the guidance of a religious, characterful, learned Acharya/Acharya and will become people of character.

13. Parents will not have to worry about tuition and private coaching.

14. All students will receive nectar-like milk, curd, and ghee from the local cowshed of Gurukul.

15. A person will not respect another person solely based on wealth and clothes but on character and knowledge

16. Bus traffic to school will cease.

17. Students will avoid falling into drug addiction.

18. Every person in society will be characterful, religious, truthful, honest, and move towards the real goal of life.

19. Instead of the poisonous smoke of incense sticks and candles, the fragrant flames of Havans will be seen rising from every house, making the air pollution-free.

20. According to Vedic religion, a person will understand the real principles of karma and rebirth and avoid bad deeds, reducing sin in society.

21. They will understand that the Varnashrama system is based not on birth but on qualities, actions, and nature.

तो उसका तो एक ही समाधान है : भारत में निर्विकल्प रूप से गुरुकुल शिक्षा हो। जैसे मैकाले ने स्कूल के लिए गुरुकुल को प्रतिबंधित करके हमें मानसिक दास बनाया, अब गुरुकुल शिक्षा को निर्विकल्प रूप से लागू करके हमें अपने परमवैभव को पुनः प्राप्त करना है ।

There is only one solution: There should be Gurukul education without any option in India.  Advocating for Gurukul education is a call for a society marked by love, spiritual practice, pure science, health, and communal harmony. It's a plea to regain our cultural legacy lost since Macaulay's ban on Gurukuls.
