Campaign to support Dr. Kamal Jafari
Mr. Kamal Jafari Yazdi, a professor, veteran who has been a prisoner of Iran-Iraq War and lost his brother in that war, was arrested in August of 2018, but three months later he was temporarily being released from prison.

Then at the district court, he was sentenced to 13 years imprisonments by the following convicted of committing:
1- Online networking events to undermine the security of the country
2- Propaganda against the Islamic Republic regime in social media networks
3- Insulting the supreme leader Ali Khamenei
Mr. Jafari is now in prison and is waiting for the final appeal of the court.
Unfortunately judicature and security forces of the country, instead of pursuing unbridled corrupt governments and executives (who are the main cause of the misery and destruction of the country), they pursued to arrest caring critics constantly in order to wipe out the main facts of the issues.
Iranian liberators are witnessing of the issuance of such cruel sentences for many years, and Mr. Jafari’s efforts to protect the country is proven to Iranians and considering some changes in the judiciary which slightly encourages reform of the verdict, we demand that this campaign supported Dr. Jafari, be investigated by the Judiciary’s Judicial examination and its registration in the contemporary history of the country.
Supporting liberals, civil/political prisoners is our national duty and we, the participants of this pledge are proudly supported honorable compatriots like Mr. Kamal Jafari. By the way, Amnesty International and the United Nations Observer for Iran, Mr. Javed Rahman, have been informed and directly involved in the campaign.
It should be noted that if the judiciary does not pay attention and refuse to our rightful request, then we will go to sit-ins and other civil actions in the next phase.

کمپین حمایت از دکتر کمال جعفری

کمال جعفری یزدی استاد دانشگاه ، جانباز و آزاده دوران جنگ ایران و عراق، و برادر شهید، پس از دستگیری در مرداد سال ۹۷ و پشت سر گذاردن سه ماه بازداشت به قید وثیقه ای سنگین موقتا آزاد شد.
سپس در دادگاه بدوی به ۱۳ سال حبس بخاطر فعالیت بسیار محدود به اتهامات ذیل محکوم گشت:
۱- تشکیل دسته و گروه تلگرامی به قصد بر هم زدن امنیت کشور است!
۲-تبلیغ علیه نظام در فضای مجازی!!
۳-توهین به رهبر از طریق ارسال مطالب و پستهای مجازی!!
و اینک دکتر جعفری منتظر رای نهایی دادگاه تجدید نظر هستند!
روندی قهقهرایی که نیروهای امنیتی و قضایی کشور در پیش گرفتند اینگونه است که بجای پیگیری مفاسد لجام گسیخته منتصبان حکومتی که تیشه به ریشه همه ذخایر زده و عوامل اصلی فلاکت مملکت هستند مرتبا با دستگیری منتقدان دلسوز سعی در پاک کردن صورت مسئله دارند!
آزادیخواهان و مردم ایران سالهاست شاهد صدور چنین احکام ظالمانه ای بودند و از آنجا که زحمات و جان فشانی های دکتر جعفری در راه صیانت از کشور بر همگان روشن است و با در نظر گرفتن تغییر در راس قوه قضاییه که موجب اندکی امید به اصلاح این حکم در هموطنان شریف بوجود آورده ،خواستیم تا با ایجاد این کمپین ضمن حمایت خویش از دکتر جعفری،به آزمون عدالتخواهی ریاست جدید قوه قضاییه و ثبت آن در تاریخ معاصر کشور بپردازیم!
حمایت از آزادیخواهان و زندانیان سیاسی و مدنی وظیفه ملی ماست و ما شرکت کنندگان وامضا کنندگان این پتیشن با افتخار حامی هموطنان شریفی چون دکتر کمال جعفری هستیم!
سازمان عفو بین الملل و ناظر سازمان ملل در امور ایران جناب آقای "جاوید رحمان " بطور مستقیم در جریان این کمپین قرار گرفتند.
لازم بذکرست چنانچه قوه قضاییه نسبت به خواسته برحق ما که صدور حکم برائت دکتر جعفری می باشد اعتنا نکنند در فاز بعدی به تحصن و سایر اقدامات مدنی خواهیم پرداخت!
