Empires & Puzzles - stop unethical business practices.

The Issue

In March 2020, the company Small Giant Games (SGG, owned by Zynga), added a new hero of the month named Telluria to their Empires and Puzzles mobile game. As the hero was very good, lot's of players decided to spend hundreds of real dollars/euros to purchase in-game currencies (gems, tokens, coins, keys) in order to obtain Telluria. In May, once all the revenue was collected, SGG announced (on their official forum) that they are planning to re-balance Telluria. The same happened with the hero of the month of January named Vela.

Upcoming E&P balance changes

A day later, company released Beta version of the game where consumer qualities of the hero were changed significantly and made the hero significantly worse, than it was advertised in March 2020.

Early Information on Telluria & Vela Balance Updates

As this move might violate some consumer protection laws in EU and North America, such as the following:

https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/unfair-treatment/unfair-commercial-practices/index_en.htm

We are asking company to stop unfair treatment of their customers and revert all the negative changes to the already released heroes such as Telluria and Vela.
