This petition is calling for justice. Shane Dawson (real name Shane Lee Yaw) has been a YouTube celebrity for over a decade. During that time, he has posted offensive and highly inappropriate content. Regardless of this fact, YouTube has continued to promote his videos and provide monetization. YouTube has enabled Shane Dawson and has allowed him to profit off this horrendous behavior. Additionally, he has engaged in behavior that has been dangerous to children and animals. This petition is for the following:

• YouTube shall demonetize Shane Dawson and stop promoting his content.
• The FBI to investigate allegations that Shane Dawson is a pedophile and has harmed children. 
• The FBI to investigate whether he has mistreated animals.

Many people have come forward with video evidence that was posted to Shane's YouTube channel and his podcast that expose questionable behavior. In particular, his behaviors have been notably racist (blackface, the use of N-word, racist jokes...etc), violent, and dangerous towards children and animals. 

Some of the most alarming examples of inappropriate behavior from Shane Dawson include the following:

• Video content showing Shane Dawson masturbating to an image of Willow Smith when she was 11
• Footage of an Omegle video chat with what appears to be a minor where he demands she twerk and strip
• Video footage of him and ex-girlfriend discussing inappropriate sexual content with a 12-year old girl
• An extremely violent description on his podcast about what he would do to an unnamed individual who had irritated him
• A music video "the one who turned you gay" that includes sexual content with a minor
• Sexual images and videos with animals. Discussion on his podcast about masturbating on a cat.
• Discussion on his podcast about a 5-6 year-old who discussed her instagram with him. Shane Dawson refers to her as "sexy"
• Justification on his podcast for pedophilia
• Admitting on his podcast he has Googled child pornography

Ignoring this behavior for over 10 years is unacceptable.
