Thomas Kite started this petition to YouTube

Over the past couple of months, the internet has seen a fierce battle between YouTube star Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg and the major Indian music/film producer T-Series. This issue was sparked when T-Series' channel started gaining subscribers rapidly, almost stealing Felix's title of number one creator on the site. At first the feud started as a small joke around the internet, but has slowly grown to grab the attention of the media.

My proposition is that YouTube moves T-Series out of the creator's section. There are already multiple non-creator YouTube channels, all run by YouTube itself. These would include YouTube Music, YouTube Gaming, YouTube Sports, and YouTube Movies. Adding T-Series to this list could be beneficial for everyone.

Having a non-creator channel run by an outside party could prove helpful to clean up the "toxic" ways of the YouTube community. It could be the start of something bigger for YouTube.

T-Series would remain relevant. Moving them into the non-creator channels would not take away their subscribers or their videos. They would still keep their popularity, if not gain more.

And, of course, PewDiePie would remain at spot on number one. Aside from a few editors, Felix's channel being run by solely himself is an insane feat, and I believe he deserves to keep his title.

Thanks for considering, and, as always, Sub to PewDiePie!
