Joachim Gustavsson started this petition to YouTube and

Recently Youtube/Google made a change to one of the most iconic websites of all time. Thumbnails are way bigger, reducing the amount of videos shown in order - surely made to keep the user on the website for a longer period of time by endless scrolling down to see another 4 videos.

This one one of the reasons according to google: "More easily find the next great video to watch: this new look includes longer video titles, bigger thumbnails, and higher resolution previews, so you can see more information about each video at a glance."

This change makes videos appear bigger - this making it HARDER to find new videos because you see less of them. There's no way people will have a easier time finding new videos to watch with less suggestions - that's not how it works.

I'm sure there's a way to add a zoomed-in mode for this sort of thing instead of forcing changes like this on users.

Personally I've watched Youtube for many years but this change has made me seriously doubt that the team behind Youtube cares about viewers.
