Dear Susan/YouTube,

Recently YouTube has suddenly demonetized more than 1000 channels on the platform and creators have lost their past years hard work suddenly with just an email from YouTube says "As of today, your channel is not eligible to monetize and you will not have access to monetisation tools and features".

I am also the victim of this email and my channel having 1.9 million subscribers has been demonetized suddenly even I don't have any community guideline or copyright strike on my channel.

YouTube is working incredibly hard to make sure advertisers feel confident investing in YouTube but at the same time creators are loosing motivation with such an unfriendly policy for demonetization.

So what could have been better to implement this demonetization policy:

Step 1: If any video is not in compliance with the partner program then YouTube should demonetize the video and inform the creator about it. (Yellow icon seems to be working for the same)

Step 2: If YouTube thinks that the whole channel is not in compliance with the partner program then YouTube need to let the demonetized channels know exactly what they do wrong, in a personal punctual manner. Please provide the link of those videos that caused policy issue.

Currently YouTube is giving chance to reapply after 30 days but most of the creators are not aware of their mistake as YouTube is pointing very broad terms like "Reused content", "Misleading Data". So if the channel has 1000+ videos, it's very difficult for him to identify the non compliant videos.

Step 3: Before demonetization of the channel, there should be a warning period of 5-7 days under which YouTube has provide all the videos details which is violating policy and creator has given a chance to correct his mistakes.

If you are agree with the above point then let's be fair to everyone and raise a voice to YouTube authority by tweeting them below:
