The new placement of the comments just looks unnatural and out of place, and it also negatively affects YouTube. Before, people who were scrolling to the comments would see recommended videos on their way down and if they clicked on them, more revenue for YouTube when they watch those videos and watch the ads. But now, with the comments at the top of the page, less people will be scrolling to the bottom of the page and seeing those recommended videos which doesn’t help YouTube.  We’re all used to having the comments at the bottom of the page, having them at the top just feels wrong. YouTube, you can keep the comments where they are now but let us choose if we want them at the top or bottom in settings.
