Obaid Karki is a Libertarian Arab Spring vlogger on youtube, and the
only relevant one from the UAE. His youtube partner channel had 3700 plus videos, 15.000 subscribers, 70.000.000 video and channel views + lots of interesting comments and discussions and video responses. Of course he could just start a new channel from scratch, but it would take years to it all back uo and running, also all the video links that made his blog (obaidkarki.blogspot.com) interesting are now deserted.

His channel was deleted for alleged "Spam, Scams and Deceptive Commercial" Content, which is youtube's default template if some ? has decided that this head has to to roll. It is possible that a UAE official has been pulling the strings here.

I have been following Obaid for years, and there was no scams, spam or commercially deceptive content. Since this petetition has been up, youtube removed the "Spam, Scam and Deceptive Commercial Content" banner from Obaid's youtube channel and has replaced it with a blank white page.
