As of a recent update, YouTube has removed the dislike counter from all videos. This is censoring other users and a violation of the first amendment, our freedom of speech and freedom to express ourselves. We are asking YouTube to restore the dislike counter feature so that users are able to see what others think about a video and make their opinion matter. When only content creators are allowed to see dislikes on their video, this prevents users from seeing if a video is quality content or not. Likewise, it also doesn't allow people to express their opinions on the video, which is crucial to maintain the balance between those with power and those without. What's next for YouTube? The comments feature? It's time for this to stop and time for YouTube and other mega corporations to stop censoring their users to gain even more leverage and control. Sign today!
